The US and China are already working on this for the past many years, and have been unsuccessful on this, but Iranians have made it?

why do we have a mentality that only US and china can invent things? Why not any other country.

Good news. I hope they start building a spaceship soon. Designs will start in the morning will be finished by sun down. 30 x 8mm bullets per minute at 330m/s is pretty slow and with limited effectiveness. For weapons either speed should be much higher, or bullets more powerful.

Not long ago I was reading about somewhat relative technology:

1 mln. bullets per minute, or 240k grenades per minute. Now thats impressive. Major drawbacks are the cost and they havent worked out how to reload to sustain such firepower. However its future of such technology. Imagine these weapons protecting the borders, with computer controlled release from 1 to n bullets, depending how many you need to take care off attackers. Solve reloading issue, and make these weapons indigenously to bring costs down.

This is the nature of this forum. You will get used to it after a while.

Basically you have the Indians, the salafis and wahabis (Tariq bin.., batman, mosa etc...), the pro Iranian pakistanis etc...

We Iranians are atually the most sensible bunch. Nobody here even bothered checking the fact that the velocity of this gun is 330 m/s, something that a country like Iran is able to make. While the ones that the Chinese and the Americans are making are much more advanced (3 km/s). Thanks for providing the info.

Nobody ever claimed that this is the same stuff that Americans and the Chinese are working on but here we have a ton of comments by a bunch of clowns saying stuff like "the US hasn't made this but Iran is claiming that it has."!! No sherlock, Iran hasn't claimed that.

Brother, the level of research being done in USA and China is enormous in comparison to most Asian countries. This is why these countries come with far more innovations and inventions in comparison to most of the other nations. Therefore, the expectations.

And USA have developed far more powerful Railgun prototypes in comparison.

Still this is interesting achievement from Iran, regardless of it being at basic level.
