the Iranian army is garbage, they have nothing, they have more money then Pakistan, but even the paramilitary service of Pakistan are better equipped.
Guys, stop being childish. What's the length of the border between the two countries? Do you think it's 50 meters?
It's 909 kms!
How far is that? Imagine Tehran to Shiraz which takes you 9 hours. How much equipment and best weapons can you send for 900 kms? It will be our full budget.
Here some other random distances that are between major cities and not borders!. Driving from Paris to Frankfurt is 571 km. Istanbul and Sofia is 502. Hamburg to Prague is 443. Dammam to Bahrain is 95.
In total, Iran has a lot of land borders. Iran has 7 land borders with a total of 5440 km!
I'm sorry Madali jan. But your argument just doesn't hold water. The Chinese built a 8,851 km long wall in mountainous terrain by carving and putting one stone over another thousands of years ago. You wanna tell me we can't build one with today's technology, at least in the flat areas?
The first and foremost responsibility of any government is to ensure the security of its citizen, especially against external threat. If government is consistently sending lightly trained young conscripts sitting in the back of pickup trucks to areas where everybody knows it's only a question time before another deadly attack takes place, then I call that criminally negligent.
I really don't understand your point! Shall we just do nothing because the border is 909 km long? Shall we stop protecting our country because it's just too hard?!
Chinese didn't have to pay for thousands to millions of forced workers and slaves, in the modern world you are forced to pay and feed the workers
And the wall is useless if the smugglers and terrorists use tunnels
The best thing to do now is create a chain small border guard bases near the border and a few IRGC and army bases
Use UAVs and UGVs to constantly patrol the border, manned patrols need to be given armoured vehicles. Iran should try to get some of BPM-97 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It's disappointing to see the lack of armoured vehicles, these pickup trucks might as well be made of paper.
The main problem is the mindset of commanders not the equipments.Chinese didn't have to pay for thousands to millions of forced workers and slaves, in the modern world you are forced to pay and feed the workers
