Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami has unveiled new Hoveizeh ground-launched cruise missile.

During the 4th day of Eghtedar 40 military and defense exhibition underway in the Iranian capital of Tehran was unveiled newest Hoveizeh ground-launched cruise missile.

Amir Hatami, underlining that the Islamic Republic of Iran is improving day by day the ability to defend and ensure national security and interests and does not ask anyone’s permission in this regard, said ‘Hoveizeh’ long-range cruise missile is a symbol of self-confidence and an important defense achievement representing the climax of global technological advancement.

“It shows that nothing can challenge the determination and will of the Iranian people in the defense field, and as Leader of Islamic Revolution said, “any threat will receive a decisive and corresponding response.”

Amir Brigadier Hatami pointed out that on the fifth decade of the Islamic Revolution, we prepared the ‘Defense Achievements and Construction’ exhibition at Imam Khomeini’s Mosalla in central Tehran, adding that about 350 products in different military fields are showcased at the event as the main achievements of the defense industry of the country.

Some source also reported that new cruise missile has a range of over 1,350 kilometers and will be used against fixed ground targets.

General Hatami said the surface-to-surface missile could be quickly prepared for launch, can fly at low altitudes, and is highly accurate and explosive.

The general also noted that Iran has successfully test-fired the missile.

The Hoveizeh cruise missile was test-fired and managed to accurately hit targets at a distance of 1,200 kilometers, he said.

Later was released video showing live fire test of a new long-range cruise missile.

. . . .
I don't like that belly mounted engine.
Yes, hopefully in next version they will fix that. I think the reason they have not done so far is because the engine size for these missile keeps changing, this new engine appears quite bigger than what the Soumar (last version) was using.

.
Its range is its plus point which makes it better than babur of Pakistan it can easily strike israel

Russia hopes to block cruise missile attacks with cell towers
Using the civilian network for national defense.

While the United States may have put its blimp-based missile defense system on hold, Russia is taking a more civilian approach to jamming cruise missiles. As Motherboard reports today, the Russian military is planning to mount anti-missile jamming devices called Pole–21s on civilian cellular network towers, giving the Kremlin a wide coverage area in the case of a US missile attack.

As the Russian newspaper Izvestiya noted, the system works with the same antennas already installed on the country's 250,000 cellular towers and could cover "entire regions like a dome that is impenetrable for satellite navigation signals." According to a spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry, the system has already been tested.

On the other hand, US equipment like Tomahawk missiles are already designed with onboard anti-jamming devices intended to keep them on course in the face of such interference, so it's unclear how effective a Pole–21 network would be. Deploying the system would also jam Russia's own communications and navigation systems. Still, one Russian military analyst who spoke with Izvestiya said that even milliseconds of jamming activity is enough throw off a missile's accuracy. Regardless of its efficacy, US Army officials seem to believe the missile jamming plan is part of a larger effort by Russia to prepare itself for a major attack.

Get some anti-jamming devices, both Western/Russian and Iranian secretly engineered. Impenetrable to all forms of frequency weapons.

And knock out the power stations too just before an attack.

Israhell does not use their main classified defenses because they want Iran to think Iran has the upper hand, as the stupid arabs thought in 48, 67 and 73.

There are dozens if not hundreds of frequency weapons that will make missiles explode in flight or crash to the ground. So Iran has to develop the counter-measures for each and every one of the dozens if not hundreds of Israhell's defenses.

Impenetrable to all forms of frequency weapons. Then make 10 million of them, mass produced.

Awesome news, a solid and capable LACM platform with a 1350km range.

A great basis for future improvements to complement the BMs.

I believe IRGC asked for some 225 mln USD post Deir az zor BM strikes for development of LACM and here we are.

Iran’s CM program long predates the Syrian civil war.

Yet not a single one of iran’s CMs saw combat in Syrian war.

Very telling.

Also Meshkat might as well be a legend at this point, no evidence it even exists much less was mass produced.

Iran has made a critical yet smart choice investing in cruise missile R&D, production and fielding. The US relies on its abundance of tomahawk cruise missiles as a first line of offense to soften the target up, along with airstrike. So Iran building, testing and stockpiling thousands of cruise missiles would be the right choice tactically.

Diversifying your arsenal is good when you have focus. Relying on Qausi-BM and BMs is not enough. I think Iran is doing rather well with their drones that carry bombs, long-range cruise missiles and Fateh family of missiles.
