Yeah to test in battle why wouldn’t they and I’m mostly referring to s 300 because that’s basically what you hear about and I’ve never read any article about s 500 being used I’m not saying bavar is going to be a game changer just saying no one has any specs on it, no matter how I feel about the war,it would only be invaluable for the Iranians to test it

Also sorry for the late reply hey I’m just a hobbyist on this site but if the Iranians test their anti aircraft weapons would only get more experience they have plenty of experience already with their drones very little with their anti aircraft except for military drills

if they make shahed-171 bigger add two engine to it it can fly probably at 50000feet and can have a speed of 500-600km . the design can probably go to diego garcia and come back . its not lie flying wing is not good and delta wing is better , B2 is better than F-117, can fly higher , can fly longer , can carry more and is stealthier

B-2 flies at 40,000 altitude at 550 mph. If it weren’t for the incredible low RCS it would be a very vulnerable.

You can build a delta wing using heavy engine and achieve Mach 2-3 cruising speed and 70,000 altitude. US did it in 1960’s as I have said over and over. They merely used a blackbird engine. Tell me a pure flying wing that can do Mach 2. It’s impossible. Will spiral out of control.

Also how long is Iran going to rely on 2000’s RQ-170 design? Where is the ingenuity? Does another American top secret drone need to drop into Iran before they decide to move on to bigger better things?

300 mph is too slow for a strategic unmanned bomber. It needs be able to penetrate airspace fast and escape fast so even if by some miracle it gets detected, it is gone before any known AD missile can catch up.

100 of these drones would be better than 1000 Qiam or Emads. Store them in the underground mountain airbase to protect them.

No I already said you go and burry your bomber under mountain, I don't care at worst you can't use them several day
But if you put your interceptor in those masuleum if you loose the entrance to that base for two days means you lost the sky and those guys can bomb those entrances indefinitely.

Do you knew how many airfield we have? We just need to make them prepared for such scenarios

By the way building 500 airfield as the type I suggest is far cheaper and faster than building two 10 as the type you say

The range was also 3x anything Iran needs for its region. So if you add weight and reduce range to 2000KM it will be possible especially with two engines.

It would eliminate need for Fotros/Gaza/Shahed-129/etc all these UCAV that cannot survive in contested airspace. If iran is fighting Taliban than sure these UAVs are great.

We have 6+ fixed wing UCAVs (Fotrost/Gazas/S129/Kaman-22/M-6/Ababil)

Too many that cannot survive in contested airspace with decent air defense.

it means change aerodynamic , that alone enough to destroy all that , high speed bomber design . as I said , those delta wing the best could do carry two bombs , a flying wing can carry a lot more

Supersonic bombers are obsolete, which is why the existing ones are reduced to carrying standoff weapons in near-peer conflicts nowadays.


Makes much more sense to have subsonic drone stealth bombers, like the B-21 Raider.
