I mean think about it. The Americans are out to screw Iran by any means possible. Trump has to keep jis Jewish lobby happy. In this context America is pushing every ally and you think they are going to allow India to open a major port and turn that into a international transport hub in Iran of all the places. Is that bloody plausible.

The Iranians are so sanctioned, so bereft of any friends, so lonely that if anybody smiles at them they start offering stuff but it never goes anywhere because USA is watching on. The USA is laying ground to a networ of allies that includes Israel, Saudia Arabia and India. And this network will align against Iran. In return the US will offer India lots of privilages. Delhi will not sacrifice them for Rouhani or few berths in Chah.

We have full support of the US for Chabahar.

Chabahar has only two berths operational as of now.
The remaining berths are under construction and wont be available till 2019-20.

There are 10 berths, India is getting control of the two built by India in first phase... but yes they are enough for us... if everything is as per the contract, I don't feel that Iranians will bow like...

Actually the problem with Pakistan is that they feel that all other nations are like them... selling/gifting their land and installation to other country... either they don't know how to operate them or don't have the guts to say no to new boss...

What do you call central Asia? Afghanistan? Because i’m not sure, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan or for that matter any central asia nation will chose india over china. In fact they are already a part of the belt and road ineciative i’m really not sure what india gets from “Central Asia”, well maybe oil but thats not really ground breaking is it?
