What a spin title.
News is about iran giving access to 2 berths next month and somehow you made it about iran taking back chahbahar from india.

What people are forgetting here is from next month india will have acess to central asia, without having to deal with pakistan.
From now on negotiation table india sit higher as pakistan now has nothing to offer to india, hence india will not see any need to negoitiate in first place.

Previously India was going for while port for $150 million for 18months now 2 berths for 18 months lol. India is losing control and rest of the berths will be given to China and Turkey lol.

in Afghanistan the U.S itself is on the run the Taliban are taking more and more territory, what's RAw going to do which it couldn't do before?

I mean think about it. The Americans are out to screw Iran by any means possible. Trump has to keep jis Jewish lobby happy. In this context America is pushing every ally and you think they are going to allow India to open a major port and turn that into a international transport hub in Iran of all the places. Is that bloody plausible.

The Iranians are so sanctioned, so bereft of any friends, so lonely that if anybody smiles at them they start offering stuff but it never goes anywhere because USA is watching on. The USA is laying ground to a networ of allies that includes Israel, Saudia Arabia and India. And this network will align against Iran. In return the US will offer India lots of privilages. Delhi will not sacrifice them for Rouhani or few berths in Chah.

As per a basic agreement signed between Iran and India last May, India is to equip and operate two berths in Phase I of Chabahar project with a capital investment of $85.21 million and annual revenue expenditure of $22.95 million on a ten year lease.
