Some of the crew inboard is Indian, will Iranian treat them differently or inverse

Looking at the multinational crews that operate those tankers , one wonders why cant countries work together as those crews do.

Multinational crews also bring to mind the classic story of Moby-Dick,

There too was a multinational crew . It had sailors from Europe , America , India, Africa , China and other countries.

The crew i imagine represent humanity , who are led to their doom cause their captain is consumed and obsessed with vengeance.

There too the reason for the voyage was oil ( whale oil ) .

I wonder how many morals from that story are relevant to are currant situation . . .

So If UK deploys more warships and IRGC tries to seize another tanker, what will happen?

1. UK tanker in Persian gulf
2. RN warship in vicinity.
3. Iran tries to capture tanker
4. Tanker asks for help from UK warship
5. UK warship warns IRGC
6. IRGC ignores warning and boards and takes control of tanker anyway

What will happen in this scenario? Will the warship fire upon Iranian ships and IRGC helicopters? If not then what purpose will these warships serve?

They have the tanker to exchange their own tanker. Why would they need another tanker?

It is not about one ship . It is about whether ships being able to pass freely through Hormuz and about the sanctions.

Seems that in the last two weeks who ever wanted to disrupt ship movement in the Golf stopped doing so and the sanctions where not reduced or removed.

So things stayed basically the same.

It's about freedom of movement for iranian ships . If we wanted to disrupt the ship movement in persian gulf we would not have let the second English tanker we captured to go. And we would have disrupted ship movement in portrait of hormuz and persian Gulf , wedding do that .
