Looks like all Sunni Arabs are uniting under Saudi to face off their Shia population.

Iran on the other hand is keeping his Shia-Arab goons like Sadar and Hizbullah fasad-Allah to face off Sunni Arabs.

Dude - it has always been like this then they wonder why the Shia sided with the mongols? Instead of studying decaptiated history we must follow a complete chain of events as there were considerable shia-sunni tensions in Baghdad present already during the Abbasid time and the shia saw mongol invasion as a chance to settle score..simple as that...there is no such thing as Ummah or what so ever vision a commie mullah wants to sell you.

Not that it is going to happen tomorrow because Arab-iranian ethnic hatred will show up there pretty quick.

But if it does happen, then it will be terrible for Iraq, as it too will go under sanctions, just like it was under Saddam.

Egypt, as a proud glorious country with tourism industry, joins the group of countries that everyone in the world, even in the allied west, looks down on them? Are Egyptians crazy to completely ruin their country with that decision?

If KSA annexes Bahrain it will only increase the net Shia population of KSA - not exactly a desired effect I can see.

Not sure who formulated this idea and what were they smoking / drinking when coming up with this idea.

Exactly what gives that some Sheikhs, Hammads, Thani's and Khalifas are far more worried to secure their thrones - even if that means annexation of a sovereign country by a bigger neighbor. How can we expect support for the cause of Palestine and Kashmir from such people????

Still, if this merger has good intentions then i have no problem with it at all... The average Bahrain citizen can afford things that many in the developed west won't even dream of. Perhaps the situation would get even better if they merge. lets see

This is why this forum is no way an insight of what general people feel. I know hundreds of Egyptians from doctors and professors to waiters and they are the ones who always talk about the dream of becoming one country and it is not even me who starts the subject.

I know many Egyptians and I know that they are very proud of their history and civilization and under no condition they like to be merged with Saudi Arabia as somebozo said as well. I could ask agentny and others to comment on this instead of that.
