So? More than 30,000 Pakistani troops have been killed by terrorists. These include serving generals.
Dealing with terrorists is difficult.
Iran can help itself if it stops oppressing its Sunnis. e.g. see information at SONS OF SUNNAH | فرزندان اهل سنت ايران
Now Pakistanis will accuse India of driving a wedge between Pakistan and Iran.
The only identity that matters is the "identity of the present", that knits a people into a single nation, whether it be an identity formed around a constitution, faith, culture, common interest or combination of the aforementioned and/or other factors.
True...true but I think we Pakistanis sometimes feel that we're given more blame than we deserve; did we play a part in the destabilization of the region....yes (the region wasn't destabilized by the Leprechauns...so someone obviously did) but are we 'evil incarnate' as we're made out to be - No....what about the dirty game every other country with-in and with-out the region was playing in this 'region' !
Even when it comes to terrorist running in our country; we've lost more than 50,000 Pakistanis to this menace of terrorism including thousands of soldiers and policemen. Why would we support the very people who are either killing us or even if they aren't....they overlap with the people who are killing us ? I mean the Afghans accuse of us harboring the Afghan Taliban and the TTP who are fighting us say that they swear allegiance to the Afghan Taliban and are housed by the Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan - We'd have to be a special kind of 'retarded' to harbor the people who harbor the people who kill us !
In case of Baluchistan; the last time Iran accused Pakistan of the same thing when their Border Guards were captured....they threatened to send in their boys and voila those Border Guards were freed inside Iran by terrorists residing in Iran - a retort that even our Foreign Office spokesperson retorted with a few days ago !
Is Pakistani soil used by terrorists - Of course; when you've got a 1800 mile long completely porous border with Afghanistan how can one not get terrorists going back and forth between Pakistan and Afghanistan especially when quite a few of them were pushed into Pakistan during the US Invasion of Afghanistan !
But that shouldn't be used as a convenient excuse to externalize one's problems over to Pakistan; a bomb goes off in Afghanistan......blame Pakistan ! A soldier is kidnapped in Iran....blame Pakistan !
Heck I was listening to a former Pakistani diplomat who sarcastically said that the Afghan Government has got a ready-made 'Pin it On Pakistan' statement on hand just in case !
And we're dealing with it the best way we know of (You're a Sri Lankan - Your country suffered for decades with this scourge of terrorism.....you should know better than any of us that it takes a lot of time and a lot of sacrifices to make this go-away) but our problems are precipitated by the obstinacy of others as well.
For example I heard (or rather saw a video on Youtube) the former DG ISI Ehsan-ul-Haq complaining at a conference with Pakistani, Afghans and Western delegates that the Afghans ask us to control the border and stop cross border incursions on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan but when we build border posts over there they lodge protests with us or fire on our posts claiming that this is not the border...that we don't recognize the Durand Line (the International Border between Pakistan and Afghanistan) which leaves us in a damned if we do and damned if we don't kinda situation !
I mean the Afghans accuse of us harboring the Afghan Taliban and the TTP who are fighting us say that they swear allegiance to the Afghan Taliban and are housed by the Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan - We'd have to be a special kind of 'retarded' to harbor the people who harbor the people who kill us !
we just staying back and play with sect ....

keep living in denial...good for us...yes you did not exchange a single bullet with china yet they still come in your territory on there will whenever they want..set up the tents ...chill out and leave....they know cowards have no balls to exchange firing with them. HahahahahahahaUmm..no, we are not. The firing is only going on with Pakistan, whom none of their neighbours can tolerate. China and India have not exchanged a bullet since 1987, and B'desh? Really? Wishful thinking, huh?
Not all countries are border pests like you.
The fact remains that your statement, to which I responded, was bollocks. China trespasses into unmarked regions, and so does India; but only you have the humiliation of all your neighbours killing your soldiers. Unlike the Iranians do to Pakistanis, they don't kill our people. Pakistani soldiers get killed on the Iran border, Afghan border, Indian border. HAHAHA yourself.keep living in denial...good for us...yes you did not exchange a single bullet with china yet they still come in your territory on there will whenever they want..set up the tents ...chill out and leave....they know cowards have no balls to exchange firing with them. You are overestimating India's clout, if you think that we can make Afgh and Iran dance to our tune and act as our proxies. Iran is a ccountry that has the nerve to defy much more powerful entities than us. Only a delusional mind can believe that Iran will attack a neighbour on India's orders. Make no mistake, whatever is happening there is between you and them. Your ambassador has just been summoned by Iran. You are right about this; however, please do be careful about any conclusions you draw from it! How do you know that the other two,non-Indian groups, are not proxies of India? Proxy warfare is very much a reality in today's world. What is there to stop India from attacking Pakistan openly at the eastern border or LOC, while at the same time two distinct proxies of India attack Pakistanis in very different areas?
It is likely that there has been a deliberate effort, on the part of RAW and other sectors of the Indian security establishment, to create a situation in which Pakistan is getting attacked from all sides.
Why should there be such a deliberate effort, you ask? I have explained already, though I will try again more slowly.
To begin with, it allows people like yourself to attack Pakistan in the way you just have!
Right, this is a continuation of that brilliant theory. No further comments. And that, in turn, makes it harder for Pakistanis engaged in diplomacy to convince others they are the victims and not the aggressors, when it comes to fighting India (for they now have to struggle against the propaganda that they must be the aggressors if several different groups are fighting against them)
And that in turn makes Pakistan's attempt to use diplomatic pressure to stop Indian aggression at the LOC much less effective than it would otherwise be.
TTP are known to be proxies of the Indians;
And then you keep living in denial....all your excuses all your bud hurting won't make any difference...we will even the score of with you don't worry...afghanis don't have balls to cross the borders and as far as Iranians are concern again score would have been even if the restraint had not been shown...your soldiers can only kill unarmed civilians that's what they are best at, don't come back crying to us when we reverse your honor back to you.The fact remains that your statement, to which I responded, was bollocks. China trespasses into unmarked regions, and so does India; but only you have the humiliation of all your neighbours killing your soldiers. Unlike the Iranians do to Pakistanis, they don't kill our people. Pakistani soldiers get killed on the Iran border, Afghan border, Indian border. HAHAHA yourself.
And I repeat - neither China nor B'desh is exchaning fire with us as you claimed. That was a lie. In fact we are even training Bangladesh's border guards.
You are right about this; however, please do be careful about any conclusions you draw from it! How do you know that the other two,non-Indian groups, are not proxies of India? Proxy warfare is very much a reality in today's world. Iran proxy of Indian? are you nut? instead of hallucinating seal your borders ...
Iran is not your foe, we are your friend .
Iran summons Pakistani ambassador over border killingsISLAMABAD, Pakistan — The Pakistan government summoned the Iranian ambassador Saturday to protest the killing of a Pakistani security official by Iranian border guards, an official said.
“The Iranian ambassador was summoned, a protest was lodged and an investigation was demanded into the killing of our security official,” Tasnim Aslam, the spokeswoman for the Pakistani ministry of foreign affairs, said in an interview on Saturday.
A Pakistani paramilitary officer was killed and four soldiers were wounded after their vehicle came under fire from Iranian border guards in Kech district of Baluchistan, the southwestern Pakistani province that borders Iran, according to Pakistani officials. Dozens of Iranian border guards also raided a village in Chagai, another district of Baluchistan.
Tensions have been growing between the neighboring countries after recent allegations by Iranian officials that Sunni militants based in Baluchistan have been mounting strikes against bases and border posts inside Iranian territory.
Pakistani officials have dismissed the allegations and have asked for evidence from Iran.
“If Iran has evidence that elements from Pakistan are involved in activities against Iran, they should share it with us,” Ms. Aslam said Friday during a weekly press briefing. “Our information is that these incidents took place inside Iranian territory by Iranians and that is corroborated by their own accounts. It is not helpful to externalize problems,” Ms. Aslam said.
On Saturday, the situation at the border remained volatile. Provincial officials in Pakistan said Iranian soldiers launched five mortar shells at a Pakistani security post in the Mashkel area of Baluchistan. No casualties were reported.
The border problems with Iran come as Pakistan is also facing growing tensions with India on its eastern border. In recent weeks both countries have accused each other of initiating shooting and mortar attacks along the disputed border of Kashmir. At least 17 people have died and dozens have been wounded this month as Pakistani and Indian forces traded fire on both sides of the Kashmir frontier.
On Saturday, the Pakistani army chief, Gen. Raheel Sharif, speaking during a parade of army cadets in the northern town of Abbottabad, vowed to defend the country against external aggression, although he did not specifically name any countries.
“Sentiments of good will and amity notwithstanding, let there be no doubt that any aggression against our beloved country will get a befitting response and no sacrifice will be too great in this sacred cause,” Gen. Sharif said. “We desire regional stability and relationship based on equality and mutual respect.”
