Iran fires missiles into Indian Ocean

Check Hezbollahs record sheet and tell me there not terrorists.

you again.
It seems that Hezb interests you. The last time you made a stupid remark about hezbollah I responded to you but it seems you had nothing to say. I'll paste my original comment. See if you have something to say about it now.

"how could Hezbollah be a terrorist group when it has seats in the Lebanese parliament?
Have your brain cells gone on vacation pea brain?

If killing civilians is your problem, then the US and Israel are doing the same on a larger scale. Hezbollah has seats in the same parliament that Christian and sunni groups have seats. Plus, many of their voters aren't even shias but actually sunnis and Christians.

Come back when we start discussing Kangaroos. Maybe then you'll stop talking out of your azz"

.
since you're such a brilliant military mind, explain to me why you guys haven't done that yet. I'll give you till the end of time for you to come up with an answer (pretty sure you're gonna need that time b/c what you wrote up there was a giant pile of swine excrement).

Why hasn't Iran wiped Norway out yet? Because no need. It could be done, unless you can tell me how you prevent such a thing. We haven't done it because there is no reason. Now if your insane leader actually makes good on his threats to "wipe anyone off the map", then there will be reason...and nothing you or anyone can do would stop it.

(swine excrement? Must be some wierd Islamic put-down...but care to explain how it is not feasible? If we did such a thing...what would stop us? Your navy? What a joke we played with them before...they didn't like it!)

ah, the drivel of a self thought military mastermind.

My insane leaders were sane enough not to send Iran's entire chemical and biological weapons inventory over Iraq and American bases in the ME when the Iraqis, with the assitance of the West, were doing exactly that to Iranian cities. Your "sane" leaders have nuked and bombed half the planet over the past half or so century.

Your sane leaders are about to banktupt your country.

You're as naive and innocent as a teenager going through puberty.

Lol, I'm sure that's what they were saying in Iraq before the hammer dropped.

(teenager? I wish. Been around the world. Have you ever left Canada? Been there too.)

1) America is not your average country. They are not driven by the same things others are driven by. The policy makers in that country, an infact the majority of its citizens, live to make money. That's their religion and that's what drives them.
Indeed, USA is not an average country.

Attacking Iran in the next decade or two will bankrupt the country. In a way, Iran has already defeated the US by making an invasion too costly.
No, the war is costly due to recession. US is engaged at several fronts; Libya, Yemen, Iraq, and Afghanistan. It will not open a new front under current scenario.

However, when WOT will end and economic recovery will take place; you can start counting your days depending upon how you play your cards with the US.

2) You speak of formidible powers. I can't recall the last time they fought any formidible "power" (other than the Germans in the World War and even in that war their role wasn't significant compared to all the other European countries).
This is why I stress that my fellow muslims need to read history properly. USA fought against both Germany and Japan during WWII.

US-Japanese conflict began with the incident of Pearl Harbour and it ended in 1945. This was the main WWII front for US. However, German Front got more publicity in media and hollywood.

Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Korea... Which of those nations was formidible in your eyes?
Focus on these conflicts on the basis of COLD WAR. The war between USA and USSR which lasted for 50 years and it ended with the victory of USA.

You are talking about engagements of COLD WAR. Here is the history;

Korean Front; stalemate for USA (due to intervention of China)
Cuban Front; USSR withdrawal
Vietnam Front; defeat of USA
Afghanistan Front; defeat of USSR
Persian Gulf Front; victory of USA

In the end USSR disintegrated.

In WOT;

OIF is a success.
OEF is yet to conclude.

Also, Persian Gulf War was the most recent military engagement in which US faced a formidable opponent; battle-hardened 4th largest military force in the world led by Saddam Hussain. And this battle was over in just 45 days. The world was stunned. For the first time, the term "STAR WARS" was coined to describe US military power. You don't forget this.

Writing what your brain comes up with is easy, but teaching your brain is harder as you actually have to put an effort into the whole thing.

Iraq was declining in ABSOLUTELY every field after the Iran-Iraq war ended. I'm talking economy, society, infrastructure, science ....
The exact opposite is happening in Iran.
Again, spare us your propaganda.

Iraq recovered a lot quicker than Iran after the conflict between the two countires. Iraq was already causing shock waves in the Middle-East during the early 1990s. It was the Persian Gulf War which resulted in its downfall.

On the other hand, Iran was lucky not to get embroiled in another conflict. It got ample time to recover and prosper.

Lol, we are often a victim of our own success, after we easily beat an enemy, every one says "well, they were a pushover." They seem to forget screaming how we would be torn limb from limb at the beginning. Iran should know better, 8 years and hundreds of thousands of dead for a few measly miles that they had to give back, but all the sudden Iraq was "a pushover." If they were so not formidible...what does this say about an Iranian army that could not squeeze 10 miles from them at the cost of 500,000?

you clearly have ABSOLUTELY no idea what you're talking about

Iraq recovered?
They were importing MEDICINE from Iran after the war. More Iraqis died in the 90s b/c of the sanctions put on them then the whole Iran-Iraq war. Millions of children, me and women died b/c of a lack of medicine and poor infrastructure. Sewage was running threw cities. Meanwhile in Iran, year after year our HDI ranking went up. Last year our HDI ranking improved by 18 spots (13 above Turkey). By 2015 Iran will be a completely developed country.
The country went from being the strongest Arab country to a backwater with a large military. Half of Iraq was free for all.

Perhaps the best example of all this was their GDP. Their GDP in 1989 (after the Iran-Iraq war) was 50 billion. By 2000 it was 10 billion.

stop talking out of your behind.

And only an idiot calls the Iraqi army of 2003 the 4th largest. They didn't even get their planes off the ground. Their men surrendered for fuc ks sake!
Why are you writing down such bs?

Look up the Iran-Iraq war. Note the tables giving comparitive military strength at the end. Iraq went up...Iran down. Everything Legend said is borne by the facts. The only major setback for Iraq (and it was a major one) was the debt held by her backers. That is why Saddam made a snatch for Kuwait (tons of weapons, needed some cash) As far as sanctions, those only came into play AFTER we gave them a drubbing, you seem unclear on time-lines! They were the 4th largest before the FIRST gulf war, not the second...

was your response to another comment? The sentence " they were saying in Iraq before the hammer dropped" doesn't connect to my comment. You don't make any sense. I'm talking about the sanity of your leadership and you give me the above response. lol

And yes, I have travelled. Before I even got to 20 I had seen Germany, Switzerland, Italy, a few ME countries, Canada, USA and of course Iran. A redneck giving a smart comment about other people's life experiences
lol

Do some research on status of Iraq during 1989 - 1991 (prior to Persian Gulf War 1991).

we had battle in Persian Gulf during Iraq-Iran war, we shot down your helicopter and you our boat, and you learned much of that. since 1988 Iran covered her gaps much more than you advanced yourself

Been to all except Iran, plus some in Asia. Lived 10 years in Europe, also before I was twenty. Lol, I know your type...you use "redneck" to mean someone who can counter blather with logical thought. Plus..I am a vet...do you have any military experience other than your TV? (plus...I am old enough to have followed the Iran-Iraq war, no need for me to get all my info online!)

you're a bigger fool than I thought

The German army was bigger after the WW then in the beginning. Were they stronger?
You're telling me that they had recovered because they had a larger army than when they had started? That makes no sense. After the war, Iraq was levelled (same with Iran). The US attacked a country with a broken back and spirit. Their so called 4th largest army was only effective when half a dozen Western countries were giving them supplies, training, intelligence etc... When those were taken away, nothing really remained.

This country resorted to chemical attacks ON ITS OWN CITIES AND PEOPLE. Half their country was free for all. Their entire advantage over Iran was the fact that Iran was isolated while they had support from almost everyone and resorted to almost any despicable action to further their objective.
Iraq after the war was no different than an African country that can't even produce a bullet.

no need to tell me that you're a vet, it was obvious. The only Americans that ever travel are soldiers.
And you were a soldiers. You never were very smart and that's why you became a soldier and not something else.

You call the Iranian regime insane when their track record is MUCH cleaner than the US leadership.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks. You are a trained soldier of Uncle Sam. You have as much credibility in the current discussion as Bush.
