Iran fires missiles into Indian Ocean

You don't need to invade to have a war, and teens running at us in human waves be be some what less effective than against Iraq. And if the Iranians are so unstoppable, why was Saddam left for us to topple? The glorious Iranian Army should have dealt with him.

There is no doubt usa has better technology than iran, but i bet you that you will not see an attack on iran, because iran is growing very fast and if there were to be such an attack then usa would had attacked when iran was weaker, like after iran-iraq war.

@Juice hey American bro! The war will bring nothing but destruction and if you believe in God then the destructor and murderer will be brought to injustice after death.
On war scenario not most American are brave enough to fight a war with bravery and like a man. Thanks to the hi-techs that make you guys superior in war. I believe as far as other Muslim countries not support war against Iran and If Al-Qaeda types suicide bomber don't arrive in Iran then I am pretty sure they (Iranian) will give you the taste of real war.
@Masomania trading with USA or others is not a sin but since your country only trade with developed countries and not helping undeveloped countries is something Islam not teach us and you are doing these only for your own interest without thinking about the risks and other outcome.
We are not much concerned about your oil trading with European and American but their military bases in your country and other Arab countries is not a concern only to Iran but to ISLAM. Just think about the guidelines of Islam if we are doing anything right or wrong!

We do not only trade with indeed developed countries but we are also the biggest benefactors of the world in terms of YEP percentages standing at around 5% of our GDP

I firmly believe in the dictum " People get the Govt that they deserve". Iranian mullahs did not came out from the sky. They were installed on their throne by Iranians themselves so is the case of any other leader in anyother nation. Either the leaders are elected, installed or they are just there because the population is too coward to stand up to them.

I agree, the same for your US puppet government, your government lost Indian respect in NAM due to following US. is there any bravery or wise in your deserved gov?

To go to war against everyone you do not agree with and with being clearly in a disadvantage is the stupidest thing a country can do. Best thing you do is to wait until you are strong enough to force your word on the world and that only comes with good economy these days and a good tech base.

There is no oppression here in KSA we are living mighty high from the government only the clerics are the ones that need to go.(And the government is flushing them little by little) And justice is great in this country we have an extremely low crime rate. Respect, Azerbaijan is a shia state yet KSA enjoys a great relationship with Azerbaijan how do you explain that??

are you talking about justice in Hejaz when the people of south can not enjoy the good universities of Riyadh?

Bush could not do too.

Bush still had not exhausted all avenues. Plus the tiers of missile defense in the area were not quite ready yet. Even the area leaders are pushing for the U.S. to attack. But Obama is too indecisive and politically scared to do anything. .......in my opinion anyways.

Eg: Iran Iraq War. Saddam was ready for a ceasefire in 1982, 2 years after the war started, on the basis of the pre-war status quo. But the Mullahs rejected the offer and Iran waged war for another 6 years using the (in) famous human waves against dug -in Iraqi positions. The human wave volunteers mainly teenagers perished in their thousands running into Iraqi machine gun nests and mine fields. Who is responsible for their deaths? I blame the stupid Mullahs who have bigger than world egos and suffers from God Complex. I can't believe how they slept at nights with the blood of teenagers in their hands.

please do not put comment about what you have little information. the best proof for that Iran decision was right to rejecting ceasefire is when Iran accept ceasefire in 1988 Iraq started new wave of attacks to Iran just few days later, and invaded parts of Iran even more than first year of the war.
Saddam was not a trusted regime

What is Iran teaching you B@KH?? That when Saudis see a shia they kick him in the street and then run? that shias cry day in and day out because of saud rule which is killing them?? Shias in Saudi Arabia have the same treatments as other saudis they get free education and they get free health care hell the better amount of education is given to them in the eastern province so they can work better in the oil companies.

You say that each sect should remain in its own then?? So shias do not get dirty with people from najd living in the eastern province so they should not move there?? this is one country for all its people. the hardliners clerics are losing power and it is in everyone's favor.

people do not need Iran teach them anythings, I have many Sunni and Shia friends from Hejaz, even my Sunni friends confirm what happening there to all people particularly to Shia.

O Great One, for mere mortals like me the main source of information is internet sites like Wikipedia as we don't speak the divine Farsi language.Pls spare your valuable time to read the following extract from Wikipedia about Iran Iraq War:

On 20 June 1982 Saddam announced that he was prepared to accept a ceasefire on the basis of the pre-war status quo.[60] Khomeini rejected the Iraqi peace offer, and announced that only the overthrow of the Baath regime and its replacement with an Shia Islamic republic were the only peace terms he would accept.[60] Given that Saddam's offer of 1982 served as the basis of the 1988 ceasefire, Khomeini's decision to reject Saddam's offer, and instead invade Iraq extended the war for the next six years[65]. The British historians John Bulloch and Harvey Morris wrote:
"If the leaders in Tehran had accepted [the Iraqi ceasefire offer], they might have gained at the conference table what over six years they failed to achieve at a huge cost in men and material; but true to the bitterness and intransigence shown by both sides, Ayatollah Khomeini rejected the ceasefire offer and the Iranian troops fought on. Iran would remain at war until all of its demands were met, the Ayatollah said-and one of those demands was the removal of Saddam Hussein, the one condition which the Iraqi President could never accept"[66]

On 21 June 1982 Khomenini proclaimed in a speech that Iran would invade Iraq and would not stop until an Islamic Shia republic was set up in that country.[60] The decision to invade Iraq was taken after much debate within the Iranian government.[67] One fraction comprising Prime Minister Mir-Hossein Mousavi, the Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Velayati, President Ali Khamenei and the Army Chief of Staff General Ali Sayad Shirazi urged that now that all of Iranian soil had been liberated to accept the Iraqi ceasefire offer rather embark upon an invasion that was likely to take a heavy toll on Iran's youth and with uncertain prospects for victory.[67] In particular, General Shirazi was opposed to the invasion of Iraq on logistical grounds and said he was considering resignation if "unqualified people continued to meddle with the conduct of the war".[67] On the other side, there was a hardline fraction led by clerics on the Supreme Defence Council, whose leader was the politically powerful Speaker of the Majlis Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani who favored continuing the war until the Baath were overthrown.[67] Khomeini sided with the hardliners.[67]

The main reason for continuing the war was the replacement of Saddam and establishment of Shia regime in Iraq which was unacceptable for Iraq or any country in Iraq's position. Your then president,PM,Army Chief all opposed the move to invade Iraq but it was given go ahead because of pressure from hardline mullahs. In otherwords your clerics caused the deaths of thousands of young men & teenagers of your country for their own self glory and to satisfy their huge egos. In anyother country they would have been tried for incompetence & crime against own people. Your govt rejected the peace offer in 1982, but 6 years & 1 million deaths later they accepted the same. I would call it the utter disregard that your govt(especially clerics) have for the lives of their people and the prosperity of the country as a whole.

Your whole argument of destroying the iraqi military doesn't hold any water. Even after the end of war, Iraq had the most powerful military in Middle East. Thats why KSA had to invite US to oppose Iraq as even their military was powerless in front of Saddam's Army.

Using human wave to defend your country is one thing, but using the same to invade another country is just unacceptable. Your govt used human wave in Operation Ramadan carried out to capture Basra Operation Ramadan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

this is western prespective of the story, the blam Iran for rejecting a tactical ceasfire while finally they had to admit Saddam was war starter

You know what's funny harpoon?? the US invasion of Iraq served the exact wants of Khomeini of installing a shia pro-iran government in Iraq. So why do they see the US as an enemy when infact the invasion of Iraq was one of the greatest things to happen to Iran in a long time.

Iran international relation is not base on installing shia government ry but supporting islamic movements( Hammas, Tonnesia, ...), as you admit removing Saddam did not make iran and US relation better.
besides Iran did not want to install so called pro-Iran government in Iraq but remove the Saddam. Iraq government is not pro-Iran (need not to be) just not being enemy of Iran. offcourss Shia countries should have shia government if their people want as Sunies have. it is your excesses that expect a shia Iraq has a Sunni gov as doing in Bahrain
