Iran can "easily" enrich uranium to 90 pct purity: nuke spokesman

TEHRAN, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- Iran can enrich uranium to 90 percent of purity, the spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced on Thursday.
"Our achievements are so great that we can easily enrich uranium in different percentages up to 90 percent," Behrooz Kamalvandi told state TV.
"If enrichment above 20 percent is required in some areas, the AEOI can do that," said Kamalvandi.
The 20-percent uranium enrichment process was launched on Monday as part of Iran's Strategic Action Plan to Counter Sanctions which was approved by the parliament in December 2020. Enditem

Exactly. I dont blame Iran per se. If US bombs Pakistani nuclear sites or kill Sissi---our countries can hardly do much either (unless China/Russia joins actively on our side)----but Iranian rhetoric is laughable now. Just accept you are not in US league and just stop the bombastic statements literally every other day. Resist and pursue your interests but lets not pretend you can take on US might

20% enrichment started on the day of martyrdom of Soleimani and 40th day of Fakhrizadeh. It means jewish terrorism and extremism will be counterproductive.

Leader said today: we're in no hurry to return to the day 1 of jcpoa.
Also Araghchi said that there will be no enrichment below 20% if west doesnt come back to the deal and if Iran needs 90% enrichment, it will be carried out. He said further that there will be no renegotiagion, no jcpoa+, no jcpoa 2, no extention of time limit of the deal, no talks about missiles or regional role of Iran.

I think Iran should start 90% enrichment if west does not remove ALL sanctions from the agreement within 2 months.

If they remove the sanctions, in the future Iran should restart 20-90% enrichment te remove all other sanctions and as a preventive measure of receiving sanctions.

Furthermore, no need to invite western companies, products (trojan horses) if not necessary. Focus on (east) Asia and Africa in doing trade.
