TEHRAN (FNA)- Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh announced on Thursday that the country has built a third underground missile production factory recently.
"We will increase our missile power. Our enemies, the United States and the Zionist regime (Israel) are naturally upset and get angry at our missile production, tests and underground missile facilities because they want Iran to be in a weak position," Hajizadeh said at a public meeting with people in the Southwestern city of Dezfoul on Thursday.
"Iran's third underground factory has been built by the IRGC in recent years," he added.
The General further pointed out that the IRGC plans to build its first ground-to-ground ballistic missile that will be named 'Dezfoul' in the near future.

Sejjil-2 IRBM is on par with your Shaheen II/III ... On our old forum, a data comparison of Shaheen II, Sejjil II and Agni IV. Thursts (KN), Isp, burn time, burnout velocity etc was once posted. We don't know much about the final operational form of this missile for last 6-7 years because political ground of deals with US was not suitable for unveiling the final version (we do know its operational on TEL in tunnels, video evidence).

Emad M/I-RBM is a tested pin point MaRV with a very low CEP.

Zolfaghar is a tested depressed trajectory/ low apogee Quasi-TBM with separating warhead and very low CEP. Its ideal for evading hostile AD and destroying runways with its sub-munition warhead.

Khalije- Fars is a multiple times tested Quasi-AShBM (EO guided).

Soumar LA-CM is a long range Iranian version of KH-55 (~2000-2500 km).

Hormuz is a Passive Anti Radiation BM with very low CEP

Ghadr is a larger iranian version of AShCM C-802 with more range. Local built (possibly TOT) C-802 is called Noor.

The difference is that these are offensive missiles meant to strike targets in enemy territory.

Iran's defensive missiles, air defence missiles, are mounted on mobile launchers and TELs.
