Iran begins issuing 30 days Visa on Arrival

The laws on visa are the most weird laws i've ever read about . Some of our enemies get visa upon arrival , and some of our closest allies get their privilege revoked .

i think it's an awkward mixture of bilateral relations and security reasons .
So do you consider us ally or enemy :D finger crossed

.
Money talks but here is a big slap for Pakistanis who have assumed Iran as their fatherly figure...there is no brotherhood between Iran and Pakistan...
International relations are based on state interests, and nothing else. There is no such thing as "brotherhood" between states, this is just naive and juvenile thinking by people that just dont understand politics or how to differentiate diplomatic lingo from reality.

The reason why Iran wont grant voa to Pakistanis is simple and is for the same reason why practically all other countries in the World dont either and this is because Pakistan is a poor and unstable country that is a source of massive Global illegal immigration.

. .
not an ally , but a friend . we were allies some 10 years ago .

but now , no .

enemy ? why on the hell should we be enemies ?

Arabs and Iranian both think of Pakistanis as their slaves..we better wake up to reality...Pakistan is not getting any respect unless it pack enough punch for smashing Arabs, Iranians, Indians and Afghans...politically, economically and militarily...

Maybe Arabs and Indians think that way about Pakistanis but not us. Iranians dont consider or care about Pakistanis. To us Pakistanis are just foreigners and are not important. We dont look at anybody as "slaves" anyway. Slavery is apart of Arab culture not Iranian.

Can't really blame Iran for not issuing Pakistan on-arrival visa. Haven't ya guys heard about
Nadra issuing Pakistani NIC cards to terrorists? I mean, would Pakistan issue on-arrival visas to
Syrians, Iraqis or Afghanis?

Scum are those who worship Al Saud. If you are a supporter of Al Saud regime you are not welcome in our country.
Scums are those who worship either of Al Saud and Ayatollahs. However Iranians do allow visa free entry on Pakistani official (blue) passport.

@haman10 @kollang @SOHEIL I want to visit the beautiful landscape of Iran. Alas no voa for me :(
I hope this answer would help:

Although Iran doesn’t have an official embassy in Washington, DC, there is an Iranian “interest section” at the Pakistan Embassy that handles Iranian visa requests. If you don’t live in the DC area, you’ll need to send your passport, application form and passport photos by mail (e.g., DHL, FedEx, etc.) with a prepaid return envelope.

Or, if you’re traveling like us, you can pick up your visa at an Iranian consulate abroad. You just need to specify which consulate location when you apply for the authorization number. We collected our Iranian tourist visa in Istanbul, Turkey. The process was relatively easy and painless. We highly recommend it. Just leave a few days cushion if you can and make sure you show up promptly at the time stamped on your visa application receipt. The cost was €70 for a 20-day Iranian tourist visa.

Pakistan Embassy. That tells you something. Despite the sectarian rubbish the "Interest Section" is housed in Pakistan Embassy, Washington. This alludes to close Pak/Iran relations in particular prior to 1979.

@xenon54 Mate congrats, in achieving what Attaturk set off to do back in 1920s. I always said Turkey would and it has. You have got your one foot inside Europe now. In time you will have both feet inside Europe as fully fledged EU member and when you shut the door behind don't forget us.

In this case "us" meaning not me in person ( I live and was brought up in Europe ) but Pakistan.

Your referring to visa free travel to EU for Turks?
Mate i dont think Turkey will ever be part of EU which is good, priviledged partnership as Germany proposes is a lot better.
