Iranian army launched a military drill codenamed “Beit-ul-Muqaddas 28" to test-fire new missiles and rockets on Sunday.
“The drill would be operated in three stages, two of which are scheduled to get complete today in Maranjab and Aran Bidgol region,” said Ali Mehrabi, Operational Deputy of Iran Army Ground Forces (NEZAJA) on Saturday.
Adding that the third stage of the drill would be exercised in Isfahan, Mehrabi underlined “accuracy and rapidity are the prominent factors in military operations and we are also trying to reach these aims.”
“NEZAJA would test-fire eight missiles and rockets during the military exercises today,” he announced.

What new missile will Iran be firing?

. . . .
So whats new?

They said they were firing some new missiles around 8 I presume of what kind I don't know exaxtly I guess field artillery missiles, cruise maybe, new atgms the standard fare of weapons really.

Hopefully we can get better footage of some drones strikes in action during this drill.

. .
There was a new sniper rifle unveiled by Iran. Was it tested?

. .
105 mm M2A1 (M101A1) howitzer , was the standard U.S. light field howitzer in World War II and saw action in both the European and Pacific theaters. Entered production in 1941, produced through 1953.

FVI Safir "jeep" vehicle equipped with a US M40 recoilless rifle dating to 1955. Commonly described as being 106 mm, it is in fact 105 mm; the 106 mm designation was intended to prevent confusion with the incompatible 105 mm ammunition from the failed M27.

.
that's one hell of a drill , from what it looks like it's a response to the 10 conscript soldiers martyred in the desert a few while ago . it's not a drill , it's a show of force to drug smugglers.

Interesting you people carry out such large military drill to scare off few smugglers.

Other countries do such large-scale military drills to scare off other countries whereas for smugglers they have paramilitary and police forces.

. .
Reversed engineered US Cobra firing unguided rockets, certainly not looks impressive.

Most of the US supplied system now being produced in Iran under new name with crude technology.
but in future platform will mature.
