Iran and role in PKK support

I was talking general about the countries that supporting PKK and how we should react them. As for Iran, i believe replacing Assad with a pro-Turkey government would be enough punishment. If our government has additional plans, i wouldn't say no of course.

But isn't the Turkish regime trying to cooperate now with Iran and Russia, in order to deal with the Syrian conflict? Assad is not going to leave office this year, and I don't even think next year. Turkey was expecting a much faster transition, but that proved to be wishful thinking. If Turkey managed to replace Assad by an anti-Iranian government, you could probably expect Iran further supporting the PKK. I don't think the mullahs have give the PKK full support so far.

Like i said before, we can not just cut all the relations we have with the countries who supports PKK. The mutually beneficial relation between Iran and Turkey will continue to grow, but i assure you there will be consequences of Iran's support. If not, it would be an invite to all countries to use PKK as a leverage against Turkey.

Well, since Obama has re-elected again, i'm expecting some changes in our Syrian policy. Changes that will hurt Assad even more...

If Iran does that, it will be sorry, they make sure of that, Turkey would join US/Israel strike alliance fully then. Turkish public opinion towards Iran would change. Iran would be the looser. Azeri support from Turkey would increase too, with all the following consequences for Iran of course.

I think Obama would try to have serious negotiations with the Iranian regime. I even expect the regime to make some commitments, in order to get rid of all those sanctions. I don't Obama would support the rebels more than he's doing right now.

It would cause huge problems with both Israel and Turkey, which he definitely won't risk for Iran IMO.

What will cause huge problems with Israel and Turkey?

Right.

Nuclear program of Iran is not the only thing. Iran would need to back off out Syria and Iraq, give up South-Azerbaijan, and bow down to Israel.

Improving relations with Iran...
Letting Assad alone with his throne...

I mean they are claiming that Iran is working on mass destruction weapons, regardless if it is true or not he can not just start negotiations with Iran and say "oops.. we were wrong"

Btw according to the reports, Turkey has requested from NATO to place some Patriot defence systems near the Syrian border. It can be seen as an indication of there will be some escalation.

Lebanon man.

We take hezbollah out, Iran runs out of puppets but then it's too good for Israel so I'm skeptical. But taking out Asad will definitely be a good start :)

Israel's concern may be important to Obama, but I don't think Obama would listen to Turkish demands in his negations with Iran.

You can't take Hezbollah out. They are too well organized, professional and trained. If you guys find dealing with the Kurds harsh, forget about Hezbollah. I think you guys overestimating your abilities in this matter. Turkey would get slammed by Iran and Hezbollah on asymmetrical warfare.

Do not let the US's unconditional support to Israel trick you. Turkey is much more beneficial and important than Israel for US. So there won't be any negotiations with Iran.

Like i said, if their claims are true, Iran will never give up it's nuclear program, if it is not, Iran can not give up from something that does not exist if you know what i mean...

Anyway, i'm going to sleep. Have a good night.

PKK is only there because we don't go into Syria, Iraq and Iran. If we really want to, have the political will, we can clean out the neighborhood within two weeks. So don't be fooled that we don't have the man power, equipment, and knowledge. We just don't do anything with it at the moment.

Just check out how many terrorists we have killed during last year in this passive form. Or how many of them died like dogs in '90 ies in that technically inferior state of ours.

Only trouble we are having with PKK is about finding politicians who has the will to unleash the armed forces upon them. Most of our high ranking generals were hunting down terrorists at mountains in '90ies. What did you do? you just shelled PJAK positions with artillery. We played the cavalry, we know the game.

You can't say Iran only shelled the place with artillery, considering the man who have died during the clashed with PJAK. But you guys won't solve this problem, if you guys refuse to acknowledge that there are problems with the Kurdish population in Turkey.
