IOK: Indian troops kill youth

Indian troops in occupied Kashmir, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred a Kashmiri youth in Badgam district on Friday.

According to Kashmir Media Services, the troops killed a youth during a siege and search operation at Gulzarpora in Muchwa area of the district. The operation continued till the last reports came in. Indian troops and police personnel have cordoned off the area and have launched a massive operation.

Meanwhile, thousands of people on Friday participated in the funeral prayers of a Lashkar-e-Taiba’s militant Muzaffar Ahmad Naiku who was killed in an encounter with forces in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Witnesses said that people staged a pro-freedom demonstration after the funeral prayers of Naiku alias Muza Moulvi at his native Batpora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Police and paramilitary forces deployed in the area fired teargas shells to disperse the protesters, they said.

Kashmir is under Indian occupation, United Nations Security Council Resolution 47 calls for referendum in Kashmir. Kashmiri struggle for freedom is not terrorism.
