Deliberately crashing in cycling is actually worse compared to the badminton case because the athletes don't get a disadvantage for not crashing.

The badminton "scandal" on the other hand was inevitable because of the horrible system that is set up to reward the loser and punish the winner. If either team in the badminton matches decides to be "honourable" you can be sure that the other team will use the chance to sneak in a deliberate lost without people noticing...it only became a scandal because both teams decided not to let the other get away with it and it became utterly obvious.

I'm actually glad that the badminton scandal came about because then I can be sure that the final result is pure and not because of the system.

They don't get warnings or anything while the badminton players are expelled? Where is the consistency, oh sorry i forgot it was the British team, so nothing wrong with it. Hypocrisy when it is best, is what this is called.

this London Olympics is a big mess,we should never let such an incompetent country to host such a big international event.Beijing's Olympics was nothing short of perfection,and this London Olympics is nothing short of a disaster.

very few people show up watching the games and the government have to give away free tickets to children and soldiers,local business slumps,the subway system was overwhelmed and had to be shut down for an hour,full of loopholes in security,in the opening ceremony they allow a lady from nowhere walking along with Indian flag bearer,they mixed up South and North Korean naitonal flag and cause a big potest from N.Korea...the list goes on..

Those are all minor issues.

For North Korean they use South Korean flag, its like they mixup USA with Tailban's flag.
