Invigilators strip two Dalit girls in exam hall

I as the OP haven't based this on this word "dalit" - i have attempted to point out 2 girls (innocent of any wrong doing) were put through a traumatic experience where these girls were stripped and humiliated - lets just hope its a one off and these women are taken out of positions of this type of responsibility...

Superkaif, I do not doubt your intention, but I say you have been taken in by the media gimmick into believing this is something important. As per widely available - just by applying averages on crime statictics in India and the % of dalits and minorities (conservatively 40% for the sake of this argument) - then yesterday 110 minorities and dalits became victims of homicide - thats murder. Should we not be having 110 threads on dalit man killed, or minority killed... whether the murder was during robbery or love triangle or for property...??? The operative word dalit or minority is good enough.

Just look at the dumbass post by some pakistani and thanked by your bro questioning india's secularism because those girls were ''dalit''??? I mean, WTF??? right??? A petty crime, an inappropriate action that falls under the local police station, add the word dalit and yo, we are good to question India's ideals.

It would be naive of you to miss all that. Your brother does not.

They playing dalit card nothing new ,its kind of trend to grab some decent money.

Thats called 'Giving Dummy Number' or something like that. The original roll number in the answer paper is changed to a dummy/false number at the 'Pariksha Bhavan' and send out to various teachers to be evaluated . Once they return, the false number is entered into the computer and it gives out the original roll number. Very common in Kerala.

I studied in CBSE so I have no idea of State boards or ICSE Board. Thanks for sharing.

There is always pressure on education officers to get exams conducted without cheating and it seems they tried to be over-smart. You know in CBSE board of India, they even tear down the name of Student and their roll number from answer sheet and replace it with some random number to stop marks awarded being influenced through known contacts.

I agree there's always a pressure, in fact it has to be to conduct fair exams... But what is this? 2 girl were stripped s in front of 40 boys... Sorry but pressure does not vindicate this act..

Ohk... So it has been modernized now, great going, deserve a kudos.. More improvements can be done, all the best..

Sure, but in the current state itself it has great market especially in Pakistan where militant groups using this technology can easily recognize Shia/Ahmedi/Non-Muslims before gunning them down.

You also know that this is not moral ethic in whole sub-continents. And students are send to randomly to some other schools and their admit cards don't contain information that they are Dalits, so it is not a Dalit based issue but the misadventure of those two old ladies.

Do u think ones caste is written on the hall ticket??

Fine, they randomly selected two candidates and it was a coincidence both the girls were dalits.. Happy with it now?

Why are we blaming the Pakistanis alone, our media is not saints either. It was a clear case of misconduct on the part of the invigilators (if indeed they stripped them of their clothes), but our media gave a caste spin to it and it was conducted by none other than 'The Hindu' who considers themselves to be of higher standard than the masala TOI.

Perhaps the teachers are usded to relieving themselves outside, they see nothing wrong in srtipping these two girls in front of the boys.

When I heard 'stripped', I just thought of girls being asked to lift their top to show their belly..but clearly your imagination runs wild.

I agree with completely, seems that N.Ram or his elite team no more wants to stick to proper "non-masala ised" news any more. The correspondent who wrote this and the editor who okayed the print need to get a kick in their *** for such spin.

Invigilators are not trained like that. Read the article again, they were suspicious of the 2 girls.

I heard he retired.

Good attempt to derail the thread... Nice trolling, do I need to remind you this thread is about two girls who were stripped in front of boys? Thanks for info, and thank you for introducing real tech to them, you know we are far backward in tech...

Its rich coming from you. Thank You.

I hope so its not a dalit based discrimination... Thanks for clarification about the local education system.

Its rich coming from you. Thank You.

Now asking a question about something which is not new is trolling... Great, you know I often get exhausted answering questions related to issues in Pakistan..

Whatever you feel man...

This unworthy news got the right attention due to the involvement of the dalit girl.

Had the girls been from upper caste or even OBC it would never find mention in any news paper ??

The idiotic reporter even choose to disclose the names of the invigilators to indicate their caste .

The biggest problem with India is its caste system which to the surprise of us is never ever talked about in western circles and all these sham human rights organizations based in west are silent on it. Almost all of such incidents take place because of such caste system when a few people think themselves above others. It is rigidly enforced and even the law is silent. Very few people have any idea what a fractured nation India is.
