IA RAPID gets an edge as it moves south-east or south-west. Its actually a very good move by Indians. The more south it comes, the more plains area it can operate on leaving the hills behind it.

South-east it goes towards Sialkot. South-west it goes towards Kharian.

The more south they go the more the area is heavily mined and well defended. Indian army can only attack in certain areas mapped out by them. Pakistan has most of their plans as you can buy the secrets for a bottle of whisky from any Indian soldier.

India may launch a misadventure against Pakistan

Reports reaching Pakistan have confirmed slow but steady transfer of Indian armed forces and war machines along Line of Control as Indian cyber force has launched what may be termed as soft-attack activities against Pakistan.
Pakistani officials are concerned over recent Indian troops and material movements along Chammb-Jaurian Sector in Akhnoor and close to the International Boundary. Reports confirmed that India has alreadymobilized two Army divisions along with hundreds of tanks and armoured vehicles.
The heavy deployment has alarmed Pakistani officials and led to speculations that Indian armed forces may try to launch a limited “misadventure” against Pakistan within next few weeks before heavy snow fall in December.
Pakistan Observer has learnt that India’s 10th Infantry Division already based at Akhnoor is now backed by the Reorganised Army Plains Infantry Divisions “Rapids” and heavily armed with sophisticated weapons.
A number of “Rapids” have been mobilised in the area recently backed by two infantry brigades fully equipped with heavy artillery.
Rapids also receive support from reconnaissance and support battalion, an engineer regiment, a Signals regiment and latest surveillance with target acquisition equipment.
The Indian reinforcement at Akhnoor is apparently designed to secure a most strategic bridge which if occupied can off Indian-occupied areas of Nowshera-Rajouri-Poonch area from Jammu.
Meanwhile preparations to hand over Pinaka rockets to the Indian armed forces units deployed along LoC and International Border with Pakistan were also underway in India. India’s Pinaka rockets are considered as a strong deterrent against tactical nuclear weapons. Pinaka rockets are fired from a 12-barrel rocket launcher and use 1.2 tons of high explosives in less than a minute.
The limited war preparations by Indian forces came within days after Pakistan DGMO Maj Gen Shamshad Mirza and Indian Army DGMO Lt Gen A K Bhatt held a brief telephonic conversation during which Pakistan protested India’s continued cease fire violations. But the Indian official rejected the protest by saying that Indian armed forces reserve the right to retaliate.
Pakistan has already informed its allies and friends that India was threatening to impose a limited war on Pakistan. Troop reinforcements have also been noticed along three Sectors of Chappar, Harpal and Charwa in Sialkot district while unusual movements have also been detected along Chappar, Harpal and Charwa sectors.
Indian forces have also begun mass evacuation of civilian populations from International Border sectors of Ramgarh in Samba district and Arnia and RS Pura in Jammu. There have also been exchanges of fires at Line of Control (LoC) in Balakot sector in Poonch district.
Meanwhile Indian officials are intentionally feeding the local media with unconfirmed and unauthenticated reports claiming that Pakistan had stored its nuclear forces at nine different locations across the country, particularly Balochistan.

This is for IA to decide where they want to attack, so far its a LOC battle with short range and long range weapons. Both countries are excellent at defending own soil, while their offensive side remains weaker. Tanks don't win wars by themselves, Generals who maneuver these tanks in the right direction, make the difference.

There is enough paramilitary on both borders of Pakistan to keep regular forces for offensives that civies will not be required. The current scenario is a display of firepower and finding targets on LOC.

I am aware by the Grace and blessing of the Almighty Pakistan has a competent fully equipped and battle ready army but one cannot stop the passion of the citizens, some are eager to take up arms and fight on the front lines. Atleast Pakistanis are somewhat prepared and waiting in anticipation of if and when war will be openly declared by the lunatics sat in Delhi. Pakistan is not Syria, Libya, Somalia or Iraq. Somebody needs to pass this message onto Mr Modis govermnet. I'm sure just as the Indian citizens, Pakistanis also want peace but if push comes to shove people will take up arms. Paks have seen the destruction in several Muslim countries and cannot see the same fate even as the nation has faced catosteophic attacks by a foreign backed never ending war on terror. It has destroyed families and generations, damaged the economy and reputation of Pak but again through the mercy of the Almighty the country has remained resilient as defient agaisnt the odds. This test has further strengthened the milliteries capability of defending the country.

Them stationing tanks there , means that if somehow Pakistan , due to quick mobilization manages to push forward into Kashmir to take a city , a counter attack by armoured forces would wreak havoc in absence of our own armoured cav،, the utility of armour in plains with ample vegetation , fortification and mine dispensing launchers is limited and can only serve to keep the other sides numbers tied down , if Pakistan had a airborne force armed with portable anti tank weapons , dropping in behind behind this force , cutting supply lines and embedding in cities where anti tank potential is greatest would be great, but such capabilities exist not

Need patriot civilians to be given militery training So they can defend their homes and communities in rural areas incase of war. Has the NCC been reinstated? What about learning from Irans revolutionary guard?

Pakistan is expert in warfare and it's defensive positions are formidable. The Indian army will be decimated , so sad to see the Indian poor being sent to their deaths to please Tea-boy and his cronies. How will they answer the grieving families ? With BS no doubt.
