Dr Mehdi Khazali is the son of Ayatollah Khazali. Ayatollah Khazali is the main ayatollah support of Ahmadinejad. His son was in his website criticizing the policy of Ahmadinejad , then he was arrested for this reason.

During 43 days Dr Mehdi Khazali was doing hunger strike. By consequence, he was taken to the hospital Taleghani since he got a heart attack with many other health problems. He was under medical care.
