It is highly likely that NI officials were acting on their own, who doesnt like to abuse their powers, if Police officials can take bribe as if its their birth right than why should NI be different, however Agency should take strict action against the suspects and an example should be set out of them......


as i have discussed with other members and my friends, FIA has been filled with goons on deputation from other departments, those departments who have no concern with FIA are sending their stooges on deputation, i have personally seen a reference letter from former minister addressing dg fia toaccept the guy from CDA muncipal department on deputation for 5years...... People from Nadra have been appointed in fia, they have made a joke out of it.

The risk of abuse of power is exactly why a system of "Checks and Balances" needs to be instituted across the board. And for how much longer can we afford to keep FIA as an ineffective joke? We need effective LEO agencies right now!

I already have a proposal for it and it is a work in progress. Since in KPK,Balochistan & Sindh, Police operates under Home Secretary rather than Chief Minister. District Police Officer is put under DCO / District Co-ordination Officer (or DC) , that helps in good co-ordination between all the departments working with in the District.
With due formation of Something similar to Internal Affairs within the group of PAS / DMG can help to keep an eye on all the departments within the district. It will not only be restricted to Police but to all the departments.
though this department will require resources of its own and its whole lot different discussion.

But its something that I have in mind.

yes economy, financial resources are the main parameters i have set for my proposals and that is the only pat I am stuck with. Without access to resources it will be burdening the staff and if we hire the less people we will face the understaff issue- same as witnessed in abbottabad commission report.
one idea could be to have unpaid volunteer staff or Interns on 6 month basis, there are alot of people who would like to do such job. even with salary set as 10K / month which is the going rate for interns could be a good solution.

All good intentions and plans relating to law enforcement would need funds. Considerable funds.

Unpaid volunteers or underpaid interns would run the risk of being exposed to the natural tendency to make money some other way. Not a good idea.

People still believe all "Missing People" are terrorists? Maybe they got a wakeup call. Our agencies are not "farishtas". All of them are involved in such thing. 3/4 cases of Naval in so less time! I am sure ISI/IB also do the same. You know, DHA plots aren't enough to fill the stomach of these "officers". Officers need luxurious lives too, not just "bloody civilians"!

I remember an agency man was caught red handed throwing a bomb in a bin outside some place. Agencies guys came and rescued him, claiming he threw away biscuits. lols

Wake Up People. The enemy is within you. Stop blaming CIA for everything. TTP/ISI/Generals/Politicians are Pakistani born and bred

Its not totally impossible that they will try to kill a journalist or human right activist.
I remeber one member joined here and complained that a local ISI guy is asking hafta from them, most members laughed at him, some felt sorry for him as well.
