what does this have to do with kashmir. Brother the legal movement will not be affected. If they have proper visa, they are welcome but we want to control the movement and stop illegal drug traffickers and terrorist from entering into Pakistan. Actually you should have been happy over it as your govt claims that Pakistan does not control the terrorist so now we are doing...why do you cry ... For decades Pakistan has allowed millions of Afghan refugees to live in Pakistan but in return we got terrorism, drug trafficking, arms smuggling and all sorts of crimes though I know majority of Afghan refugees are peace loving normal people who are hard working. But since we just allowed them to enter Pakistan indiscriminately on humanitarian basis, we got all sorts of criminals also and to this day, we are suffering from these problems. And your govt in Kabul is not only supporting terrorism against Pakistan, it is working the arch rival of Pakistan; India against Pakistan. They are also lying and blaming Pakistan. Thus if you are facing a tougher Pakistan, it because of these things. I hope when these ungrateful govt collapses and more friendly govt takes over Kabul, we will have better relations. But until then...Pakistan will get tougher because we have been kind and it was taken a weakness by Kabul.

Sealing the border i am 100% for it unless the ground realties change. I differ slightly on repatriation though, I think we should only force those people are involved in any criminal offences (except for traffic challans ) especially drugs, arms, stealing and kidnapping and especially terrorism. The terrorists should be punished and hanged but their families should be deported immediately within a week. For the rest of peaceful Afghans, we should make a more long term policies. Many of them have married here and have children...they are our brothers and our religion does not allow us to force them to leave or show any discrimination against them. Think about of millions of Pakistanis living abroad for 2, 3 generations.

LANDIKOTAL: The Pak-Afghan border at Torkham was closed for all forms of transportation on Tuesday as Afghan officials and security forces prevented the installation of barbed wire by Pakistan, The Express Tribune has learnt.

“The situation turned tense when Pakistani authorities began installing barbed wires,” an official said. “This was done to control people from crossing the border.”

Khyber Rifles Commandant Colonel Tariq Hafeez and Assistant Political Agent Rahimullah Mehsud rushed to the site along with heavy contingents of security forces. They entered into negotiations with Afghan Police Commander Zabihullah Shinwari. However, the negotiations were futile.

Authorities at Torkham said unless work on the installation of barbed wires was not resumed, they will not reopen the border.

Sound reasonable to me, but many have also obtained Pakistani identity illegally. The vast majority of Afghans will have to leave I'm afraid.

Bro I think we are on same page for the most part. But I beg to differ on certain implementation aspects and I think about more in longer term with a cooler mind. We are emotional people, first we allowed them all and opened the whole border without any checks and controls and now we want deport all....We are just thinking in black and white while the reality has many shades of grey too.
