Not INS Vikramaditya, but nice pics indeed and partially confirming what I thought about the forward take off position, but I still need a better pic of Vikramadityas ramp or a top view.
Even countries are referred using female pronouns , exceptionally male pronouns might also be used in a general language . ACC is not a ship . I would like you to read about specialism given to ACC's by USN . Calling Vikadi a beauty seems to be cheesy though .Ships are always referred to with female pronouns in naval parlance - "she", "her" etc. It's an ancient tradition.
You are speaking as if calling a ship her makes it femaleUmm...and that makes it male? Anything special has to be male? What exactly are you saying?
(As I said before, I don't really care, I'm just being pedantic in pointing out that ships have historically been referred to with feminine pronouns in the english language.)
New Recruit
Here's another pic from the top.
However, I don't think it is clear enough
Anyways, I am really very very happy to see this near completion.
All this ruckus regarding whether The Vic is a "he" or a "she".....
Come on guys , just have a good long look at this beast.....
The Vic too is definately male!!!!
Hope all work is finished before Dec 2012
BTW How many Migs can be stationed on this ACC ???
