SU-35 matches or surpasses Typhoon in many aspects. Typhoon is expensive. Rafael is close to Typhoon plus Indian have already fully evaluated Typhoon, so Typhoon won't be that of a surprise. PAF pilots have been training on Chinese Flankers, so they don't have to learn everything from ground up, Plus Chinese pilots will most likely share inside out of Flankers capabilities. While western sanctions can hurt Typhoon in future, Chinese are also buying SU-35 and also build their own copies, so getting spare part won't be that hard. Unlike Saudis, who can't even tighten their F-15 bolt on their own.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Chief of Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force Sohail Aman had "fruitful talks" in Moscow in July on purchasing of Russian Su-35 (NATO reporting name: Flanker-E) fighter jets, Pakistani Ambassador to Russia Qazi Khalilullah told Sputnik.
"Chief of Air Staff Marshal Sohail Aman had fruitful talks with the Russian partners on this issue in July," Khalilullah said answering a question on whether Islamabad could purchase the Su-35 aircraft.
According to the official, the Pakistani Air Force "is considering different options of deepening cooperation with Russia."

helicopter Gunships might be more practical and realistic possibility. there is no harm in checking out alternatives and meeting up with Russians but the best thing we can get from them is their positive influence regarding Afghanistan and India

Su 35 is better than Indian su 30mki,once the mki is upgraded that will include tech from PAK fa then it will be more potent than su 35.Don't you think indians know about SU35 too? Don't Indians have SU-MKI which is far more potent than su-35?
