I hope the Indonesian defense industry will soon be able to localize the turret and engine.

The success of Harimau MT will also encourage our future joint project ideas.

It is Philippine the only nation in SEA that will likely use Harimau MT, other SEA nations prefer China or Russian ones.

Indonesia IMO will be the one that buying most of this tank. Indonesia acquisition alone IMO will be able to make this project a profitable one inshaAllah.

We will generate more cooperations in future. Indonesia and Turkey have bright future.

I don’t know why but Turkish officials have already been listing the name of Indonesia as likely candidate on TF-X. Is there anything wrong with partnership with S.Korea regarding KF-X bro?

According to recent news more than 100 Indonesian engineers are still working there. In term of engineering process things is still going smooth but renegotiation process is also still going on. The renegotiation is still not concluded but just a week ago South Korean defense minister met with Indonesian defense minister in Jakarta to discuss KFX/IFX program. I think joining TFX can be one of the options if renegotiation is failed.

I also believe that some day Indonesian Turkish joint project in fighter jet development will come true. Maybe not for TFX but possible 6 generation fighter. As both Indonesia and Turkish have started development of their 5 generation fighter so it will be likely that both countries will also develop 6 generation fighter maybe after 2040. Possible STEALTH MALE UAV program in my opinion is also possible to pursue together, maybe also including Pakistan and I see 2030 for possible development.​
