Impressive. What is the size of the Indonesian military in regards to personnel? Pakistan, Indonesia, and Turkey should do military exercises. What a powerful block we can become. We are Muslim's so our goals should be the same.

We have 395,500 Armed force personnel + 30.000 Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob/Police special force) who also have war experiences and well equipped.

Ya, I think those three powers need more cooperation on defense, technology, and science. Actually the block is in the making right now with Malaysia and Qatar as additional members. Kuala Lumpur Summit will be the first attempt to create such alliance with Mahathir Muhammad as the one who initiated the idea.

Here is Malaysian first white paper which said the pursuit of alliance between Muslim nation particularly Indonesia, Pakistan, Qatar, and Turkey. Just been released.

Yup, you are right but Indonesia is also pursuing engine technology. Toyota car engine is produced in Indonesia for instant. Beside that we also have state owned engine company like PT Boma Bisma Indra who can produce diesel engine. I hope some day we can also produce tank engine. Currently the company is focusing to produce and market marine engine.

Building tank is tough job...wonder why Russian T55 still the most lethal weapon in urban warfare .. rest of tank based on same design in Russia...

WOW I dont know that, thank for informing me. Yup he is a clean leader and has been well known for that since he became a major in one of Java city. He also has made many change and reform when he was elected as Jakarta governor. Actually our country fight against corruption is started when we make a strong and independence anti corruption body which is called Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) in Indonesia during early 2000. Indonesia also make separate judiciary system after we embrace democracy to handle corruption case so we can have better and cleaner judges.

Our industry is developed during Soeharto regime and our state owned strategic industries was lead by Habibie at that time as research and technology ministers since 1980's until he become vice president at 1990's and President at 1998. Japanese investment is also vital for our industrialization since 1980's. Our home based industries are actually protected during Soeharto regime and more liberation on the market is done in step by step process.

Direct Presidential election IMO is also crucial to find better leader so I can say better system will result better out come. Parliament member behavior is quite hard to change so we need to by pass that by creating direct presidential election.

Imran Khan is also a clean person and Pakistan return to democracy is also celebrated in Muslim world.

In his opinion, Indonesian MRE packages are one of the best in the world in terms of quality. It puts a smile on my face when I hear the strength of another Muslim country. I have always admired Mahathir Muhammad. Even in his advanced age he came out for truth against corruption and is initiating policies to pursue alliance between Muslim countries. May Allah continue to give him strength. There is a steady rise of Indonesians coming to Pakistan for a holiday, I hope they bring some of their culture and food to Pakistan.

If I'm not mistaken, you can put a. bigger gun with this medium tank. Besides, this tank was designed to fight asymmetric conflict, especially when fighting a counter insurgency. It is also useful in forested and tropical territory like that of Indonesia. So it is designed to fit in specialized conflicts.

This tank is also very beautiful. I would put it in a garage where I could just watch it.

Insurgency in Indonesia is also decrease a lot after we can sign peace agreement with Aceh rebel in 2000. The concept of using medium tank/light tank is also now adopted by US military to fight near peer threat in great power competition.

True, Medium tanks are designed for conventional warfare in areas where the ground cannot sustain the weight of an MBT. Medium tanks are also easier to transport (even if the infrastructure is poor) relative to MBTs.
