Lets hope so,times have changed, not only in Indonesia, everywhere in the world.Indonesia has experienced many hurdles in the past with radicals... islamist, communist, what say you.. they all end up in the gutter.
Understood. There are some historical grievances that I was not aware of. This explains it. Thanks.

If Chinese are being persecuted for being Chinese and not for any other reasons, it becomes a Chinese racial matter. It is no longer a national problem, similar to antisemitism and apartheid.Yes.
I give translation.

WTF? Ahok didn't commit any crime. What do you think of the sentencing of the mayor of Jakarta (the Chinese one) for blasphemy recently?
I think the 2 years sentence is a pretty reasonable compromise that would prevent an outbreak of civil disorder while also not punishing the man too severely, for what was apparently not an act of blasphemy but rather a misunderstanding.
Well that reflects how some well off in HK think of overseas brethrenWTF? Ahok didn't commit any crime.
