Yes, it has only been claimed that the JF-17 exceeds the F-16 in some areas. BVR-engagement range(with slightly older AIM-120 AMRAAMs that most countries have, not the AIM-120Ds that are being developed), manouverability, Radar Cross-Section are areas where the JF-17 exceeds the F-16.
You should read news-sources before making assertions. Rightnow, Pakistan's airframe-manufacturing capability is 50%(in Block-I) and increasing with future blocks, JF-17 is built using Swedish-origin aeronautics heavy-machinery(they develop the JAS-39). We also manufacture avionics for it, and our share in manufacturing the KLJ-07 radar is also increasing(we have previously manufactured Italian Galileo radars for our upgraded F-7s, Galileo is the same company that manufactures the Eurofighter radar). So the JF-17 is very much our own aircraft. We don't just assemble it like India's "indigenous" SU-30s where Russia doubles the price for them and India has to put up.
Again your knowledge has gaps."Not PAF F-16 but Block-52"... PAF operates Block-52 as well as older blocks, and older ones are being upgraded in batches rightnow. JF-17 excels in remaining unsanctionable by Uncle Sam, which they tend to do quiet often, especially during war by blocking spares when you need it the most. JF-17 is known to have won mock-dogfights against F-16 Block-15(which is the most manouverable Block, Block-52 has airframe modifications that allow it to carry extra fuel and stuff, at the cost of manouverability), so manouverability is something in which the JF-17 excels.
9gs only in fanboy's wet dreams. Currently the Tejas goes to 6gs, as quoted by various official sources, but they hope to improve that. Just like JF-17 is likely to improve it's performance as well, in Block-II starting from 2012. Please use google and educate yourself.
You know very little about many things. It is a modern trend that latest-gen aircraft don't use older low-level languages anymore, they don't have to because on-board processors are much more powerful. Older F-16 Blocks used Ada, latest Block-60 uses C++. F-35 uses C++ too. The airframe is aluminum alloy, with composites used in some areas, just like Tejas. Tejas uses a greater share of composite materials, but that's like the one single thing fanboys keep harping about, the composites. Our F-16s bested the Eurofighter in three out of three engagements, the Indians couldn't believe it but it was proven to be true in the end.
