Cordial yes but in a non-committal, non-formal, backstreet, love-hate type relationship...
IIRC our diplomatic and service passports are stamped with the warning "Not for use in Israel and Taiwan". However regular passports can be used as long as the bearer got clearance visa to travel there... and Indonesian citizen would regularly travel there for business, tourism, education purposes with no issues...

I think it's hypocritical that Israel wants to be treated right, while at the same time they treat Palestinians inhumanly.


I understand, that Israelis need a home, a safe place called home, after thousands of years of persecution (by living in other people's countries).
