2000+ SRBMs with precision guidance and an equal number of cruise missiles launched from both the ground and from PLAN ships, more than makes up for the lack of F-117. J-20 is not a bomber, but it will severely limit the capability of the ROCAF to respond due to its advanced sensor suite, low radar return and long range weapons. PLAAF does not need J-20 though.

The 280 Tomahawks used in the Gulf War is a drop in the bucket compared to the volume of precision firepower the PLAN and PLAAF can bring. PLAN does not need the east side of Taiwan; HQ-9's 250 km range covers the entire island from dock.
