What's new

Indo Israel MRSAM (Barak 8) is ready for deployment.

first try to build something on your own then come and lecture us....(not some ripoff not on some stole technology not on some russian product )
that's an usual excuse Indian covers incompetency. when they get overwhelmed, then start to sling mud at you.

.
your call does not matter bro......its jV we all know that .....
and about production let see in future what happens ....as i remember you people once said BARAK 8 is cancelled or it delayed to 2018 etc etc .....now you people are saying its not JV.....actually its fun when we see people changing color more often
All it shows is they are pretty damn intimidated by this weapon, the more they try to diminish this achievement the more Indians should rejoice.

@wanglaokan even if this was 100% imported (which it won't be- DRDO worked on the propulsion) does that mean anything? This system is arguably one of the finest such systems anywhere in the world and when coupled with the MF-STAR it is going to make any adversary sit up and think twice. And Israel is a dependable ally for India, there is little prospect of Israel withdrawing support during times of war and such (during Kargil they were one of the few countries who stood by India and assisted India's war effort).

.
So where are the fools who said this system would only be ready in 2018 now?
they are still in this page just read the comment from .....BARAK 8 is cancelled or it delayed to 2018 etc etc .....to now are its not JV..:lol:

Actually bro, BDL has already set up a production line and they will be churning them out for all Indian orders within India.
good to know ........now push this into wanglaokan throat:rofl::rofl:

we all fully depends on ourself in navy equipment ,052d destroyer could carry 64 units of long rang Sam HQ9b over 200km. we can produce them like sausage cause it's completely indigenous, we don't have to pay the rip-off price you pay to those western company.
It's not your problem, don't worry about it :D

can you tell me that its not based on russian s-300 ? is it solely developed by china ? we all know that answer isn't it ?

I won't call it a joint venture unless it could be produced in India. it sounds more like a FGFA project, which you provide money only.

Indian companies are going to produce the dual-pulse rocket motor, associated motor arming/safing mechanisms, and the pneumatic actuation system. This is confirmed, because of the Korean Air incident which resulted in Korea stopping the movement of Indian components to Israel. Hope this helps :)

I think, this more like the Typhoon project where each country contributes part of the project.

China has sought self-sufficiency in defence products out of necessity (you are under an international arms embargo) don't kid yourself there is any other reason why. India does not have the same immediate compulsions to indigenise (although this is obviously its long term goal) so right now India can buy the best possible equipment off the shelf from the international market or tie up with experts in the field. China is hardly producing stellar results despite massive investments in home grown tech so there isn't a huge amount of incentive for India to completely abandon imports but rather indigenise bit by bit over time (a much more rational approach really).

So continue to compare India and China and continue to compare apples and oranges.

I can't see those indigenization bit by bit in Kaveri engine and other projects, I get used to compare China with India cause both are two giant neighbors.

Yes, but like I have said, there are significant differences between India and China in this area to make comparisons unfair to both sides.

The lessons learnt on the Kaveri project will be used by GRTE to develop the power plant for the AURA UCAV. And what about India's successful indigenous efforts in the rotary-wing field? First the ALH, now the LCH and soon the LUH. And the LCA is hardly a failure, in fact it is just starting its journey to be a huge success. There are many other areas that get little attention but provide some credible results- Radars, EW systems, Command and control etc etc. Bit by bit is certainly true.

Does this concept exist when talking about military hardware? If you pay peanuts then expect to get monkeys....
how you gonna move those foreign stock around during war time, it's a logistics nightmare. thats why many think India is armed to teeth? when your missile goes empty stock, you call Israeli to ship some to your rescue. I think the war would have been over before those replenishment arrived.

You now know why i said its made in Isreal and send it through courier ...its for his eyes only...

If we say its made in India, he surely will start the troll mill rolling...

China is the target for India to up-to, you can't deny it. the bit by bit progress is fine , keep it up.
