India's uncomfortable truths on film

Indians I have done my hard days work. I am going home now. i will check later to see. If I have had any answers to the following:

Would any of you Indian guys like to tell us if you are uncomfortable with the truth about India?

If so how uncomfortable are you?

Lastly why are you uncomfortable with the truth?

If you are comfortable do you know any Indians who are uncomfortable?

How uncomfortable with the truth were they?

Why were they uncomfortable with the truth?

After all it is just the truth is it not??




Oh btw do not be too uncomfortable after all it is only the truth. Truth never hurt an honest person

The answers are present in the constitution of India, did you check?

Dude if we are uncomfortable would we have made the movies in the first place. Neither would permission given to the outsiders to depict India in all its truthfulness or in otherwords 'Slumdog Millionaire' would never had been made if we are uncomfortable with truth. On the other hand Pakistan had to be reminded of the truth by reports like ' Secret Pakistan'.

i heard about those sang parivar and shiv sena guys as well; but anyways i look down on them as inferior people anyways so why should i inconvenience myself


as for the thread -- well the whole sub-continent is known for having major problems with wealth inequalities so there are good sides and then dark sides; in india i guess it would be particularly pronounced given the size

Though i have not heard of this guy and saw his movies , i have seen documentaries more disturbing than the topics told in the article.

Bullying by locals or say from the ones who sing the son of the soil arguments are present in parts of the metros esp in Mumbai.

Organisations like Shiv Sena was formed and is running on this son of the soil mantra and we have read the atrocities by them against north Indian migrant workers in Mumbai and parts of maharashtra.

The plight of the dalits in rural area is a reality and its a shame that certain mindsets still exits in the nation @ this century.

The fight against the system and against unacceptable social practices have gained some momentum and its a dream of every citizen that this fight will show the results thereby reflecting the spirit of an emerging vibrant India.

Lived enough in India to know what's the real truth of India.. Don't need a Pakistani to tell me their hate filled Interpretation of what India means and what it stands for..

India is progressing no matter how much you hate us.. It's rather your obsession with India and only India that has brought your country to the state it is in today. Deal with it!!
