The Indian exports tell a true story of the state of their industrial capacity, or lack of.

Primary resources and mangoes will not stop the imbalance.

Mangoes or not, bilateral trade imbalance wouldn't go away anytime soon, since the two countries have entirely different economic structures as you have mentioned. Nothing wrong with that, China Mainland also sustain trade deficits with Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Germany as well as a handful of oil exporting countries.

What's more important for any nation (of course, USA exceptional) is to balance its current accounts, otherwise sustained deficits for sure will have negative impact on its international position. India's current account balance for 2015 was -26.218 (US$ Bln), or -1.254% of GDP.

India’s International Investment Position (IIP) as of end March 2016 stood at -361.5 (US$ Bln), able to maintain at same level as one year ago. Link: https://rbidocs.rbi.org.in/rdocs/PressRelease/PDFs/PR3048505DA730EDD947AE9B1E80B7B3668407.PDF

You don't understand Chinese culture, Chinese does not wear Jeans*

You don't understand Chinese culture, Chinese does not wear Suits*

You don't understand Chinese culture, Chinese does not wear T-shirts*

You'll come to understand cultures are dynamic, they change with time.
If the Chinese wear the semi naked saree, they'll freeze to death. Also, most Chinese don't wear ethnic clothings in today's world unless it's some very important ceremony.

So many mangoes never find kesar mangos in Toronto :( one of my favourites

We've got our own products on the island of Hainan Province.
I can easily buy them online, and have them delivered to my house in 2 days.
The thing is, if we need import mango, the most economical way is to import from Thailand and countries around. India is too far away by cargo ship! I have never seen any Indian fruit so far! Transport is a hindrance.
The best mangos come from subcontinent. you are missing out on some serious delicious stuff.

i have tried both alphonso (indian) and chawnsi(pakistani) and they both nice. the alphonso is a little bit bitter this year the chawnsi came very ripe. i had to use the pulp to make some good lassi.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Please no mango, we're full with our mouth :pop:but we're willing to take Us C-17, P-8 and any US top military secret that India has in possession to reduce your trade deficit with us.:D

Here you go

That will be 53$ billion. Please send by cheque

You can't sell $50 billion worth of mangoes or spices to balance the trade.

Once you have our mangoes you won't be saying that!
