55% Thunder is prepared in Kamra. Pakistan and China have jointly designed and prepared Thunders.more over we will be primary users and we will sell them to friendly nations. so its better to call them Pakistani Thunders instead of labelling it permanently with Chinese label.
Su30MKI case is different. Su30 is Russian project and its MKI variant is prepared by Russians and Indians jointly. so its case is a bit different...........................

MKI is entirely build in India, avionics on MKI like RWR are of Indian design,

Please enlighten us, what exactly was the Pakistani contribution to JF-17.
If it was a 50-50 joint venture, Pakistani contributions should be readily visible.

Don't ask us to looks through a thousand pages of JF-17 thunder threads, to look for a minute contribution.

Do you guys get a share from sales Russia does for Su30? Pakistan gets a share from sales done on its joint ventures with china. For example K8 trainer jet. Same goes for thunder. No one needs to enlighten every Kumar and shukla who is ignorant by choice.

Jags do not stand a chance against F-16 in air combat, if you think otherwise then you watch too much of action movies. Jags are designed as strike aircraft. Yes they might carry A2A missiles for self-defence but they are not meant to fight dog-fights.

The embarrassment of Mig-21 is that it is a effing flying coffin. Go and tell the parents of dead pilots that the Mig-21 is a modern, advanced fighter. Unless you got the balls to do than then I suggest you keep your bollywood logic to yourself.

IAF is replacing bisons as they are past there intended lifes though they are still good and have a decnt radar and wepons pakage for its point defnce role they are showing there age now

jags are not for dog fights with F16s (the ones PAF has are already too less and way too many strings are attached to them) to keep 18+42+13 F16s bizzi we already have 108 MKIs+63 Mig 29s & 54M2ks so no worries there

as for delta wing well bro the "pure delta dsign" like those on mirage or rafale are good for speed and canards are added to increase lift and manuvarability but have a sserous RCS issue while cranked delta not onli increases lift but is great for manuvarability & speed to so its not an issue the issue is with the drag which with MK2 is already adressed wait for some time

Is it the avionics?

Is it the weapons package?

Is it the composites?
Is it the DASH HMDS?

The jet is not out yet with all these configuration.

Radar is under process
Ge engine is not installed
Etc etc.

Yes the day lca will be complete. It will be better but I am waiting for decades.
lca in current situation is not combat ready.
If they will take due course of time it will be too late since it's already too late.

Lca is not inducted the way a fighter jet is meant to be

JF 17 has come a long way since its induction, one of the reason why Pakistan is inducting in numbers.

Tejas capabilities will improve.


Yes after many years of induction fc1 can fly at night and fire few missiles and bombs.

FC1 project started in 1982, LCA started in 1991
