India's Orwellian drift

Don't bring Pakistan in here, because India has refused to hand in the perpetrators (Col Prohit & others) of the Samjhota Express in Haryana either, for the killing of 70+ Pakistanis. In fact, some information on the attack on the Samjhota Express by Hindutva groups were given by Swami Aseemanand.

My dear sir, India is under no obligation to share any information with Pakistan regarding the Samjhota Express blast as it happened on Indian soil, ie, Indian jurisdiction. Pakistan has no right to question anybody or ask anybody be handed over in this regard.

The co-conspirators are roaming freely in Pakistan.

Proof? Why would Pakistan want the co-conspirators of Karkare's murder, a person who worked to expose the Hindutva terror network be roaming freely in Pakistan. You are just not making sense. And yes, I know how and when Karkare died. If you want, I'll explain to you, because clearly you don't understand.

The Karkare was killed during Mumbai massacre. Which was done by Pakistanis and accepted by your government. Do you need more proof? There can be numerous conspiracy theories which you may believe as the truth because it suits you.

Pakistani citizens were killed. Pakistan has every right to ask for the Hindutva terrorists that killed Pakistani citizens.

I think the end verdict of the case will decide what is a conspiracy theory, and what isn't. You have no reason to claim otherwise.

I appreciate the fact that you consider yourself as an ethnic Indian and care enough about your family here to have visited India twice.

Let me tell you about MY family history. We are originally from Multan, but the riots in 1946-47 ensured that the ENTIRE hindu population of that area was systematically cleansed. Almost all hindu families of the area were either burnt or forced to leave for India. As a result, we don't even have a single link left to our past.

Please think twice about treatment of muslims in India, at least they didn't endure complete cleansing like your country. I'm sure there are issues with discrimination and mistreatment, but for the areas that you mentioned (west UP and Bihar), that is very common, even for lower class Hindus. Do not consider yourself as someone who has been singled out brother.

Most people that I know had links in India prior to 1947 have no more links now. My mother's side was one of the odd ones left. It was exactly the same in places like Bihar, present day Jharkhand, UP etc. There was a lot of systematic ethnic cleansing in these 3 states, there were areas that were burnt down there as well. There are still over 4 million Hindus currently living in Pakistan, & if you go to the Pakistani province of Sindh, you shall see & meet a lot of prosperous Hindus, especially in the cities Karachi & Hyderabad. All the Hindu mandirs in Sindh & Punjab have been preserved. So, I would argue that what happened in Pakistan & India in 1947 was extremely similar and sad. While many Hindus were killed by Muslim mobs, the difference of the Hindu population you see pre and post-1947 in Pakistan was because most Hindus left Pakistan, not because they were killed. A lot of Hindus were killed, but the majority of Hindus that left Pakistan for India was what accounted for the drop of Hindu population in Pakistan.
