Agni II...heard of many success tests but later on found out to be a scam

India success in cryogenic engine. Heard of that news in 5 years ago, many articles on google, but still using Russian engine.
Recently, heard it's still in testing...umm

I dont want to waste my energy on pinpointing failures by China.
Why Talk of Agni II when u have the real threat :

Successful Agni III and SLBM Sagarika ?

Why do u waste ur time by talking about "concept" stuff like Avtar which is FIRST of its kind and China has not tested any REUSABLE Vehicle !

Why talk about Cryo which any way is succesful, but igonre 13 Sucessful flights of PSLV and the hatrcik success of GSLV ?

Why did u Ignore my Assertion on "Copy" stuff, while circling around the same thing again?

LCA is a successful project, yes its Late but Successful but ask urslef how many countries had the guts to even start?

You know Mr. Cosmos, I can talk about Lavi=J10 , Russain SAM = Chinsese SAM , Russian Engine=Chinsese Engine but whats the Use ?

The fact you MUST agree, that The Arsenal in China and India are both Capable of Serious Destruction. The Indians Know it and as i said if u ingore it then Agni III is NOT a Toy.

Normaly an ICBM has 3 stages
Boosting stage
Mid course
Terminal

Chinese 2nd generation missile will only consist 2 stages that is Boosting stage and Terminal stage. This will reduce their weight and for interceptor missile less time. This is their theory and development.

Another asninine propoganda. We are ahead in abm technology and that is what Dr. Satish Chander said.WE are about 5 yrs behind PRC in icbm technology that also includes induction. We are another 8 years behind china in terms of SLBM including induction and building of nuke submarines. This crap is classic chinese disinformation rather than being specific. In any case china will be toast along with india if it tries any hanky panky today even with what we have.

I have both good news and bad news for indians.

The good news is that rumor says that china have rescinded the plan to develop new generation of ICBM, since DF-31A was inducted in the last decade. PLA think the performance of DF-31A is sufficient now. (DF-31A is a improved version of DF31 listed below )

bad news is that india's newly developed Agni-3 is a counterpart of chinese DF-3A, a veteran missile entered service in 1964. Anyway, Welcome to the 1960s!!! you got to work hard in the next five yrs to surpass evil chinese.

I'm sorry, I don't understand. Is the fact that we developed a missile 40 years earlier than the Indians make the Agni III any less potent?

I didn't say that. i just could help having the evil thought to quench the enthusiasm of indians when i saw their unbelievable optimism and confidence. Maybe i am wrong to judge the others using the value of chinese culture. Modesty is really luxury for some races on this planet.

.
China is making progress day and night, though we need to focus on our stuff rather comparing China with India

This is incorrect as Agni III missile is similar to DF21 missile develop in 1990s. So India is at most 20 years behind that of China and maybe even less.

.
There should not be any problem in accepting India way behind China in missile technology, now if it is 5 years, 10 years or 20 years I leave it to the readers whatever they want to chose.

Our aim in missile technology should be to make sure that we have enough to act as a deterrent, we should not be trying to compete with China at all.

So as long as we can achieve that even if China is 50 years ahead who cares.

Is there any difference bw RV and pay load? Or both means the same thing?

Besides, isn't Agni III's range above 5000km for smaller payloads?

.
Depends on the warhead yield. 1000 kg Indian payload probably has a firecracker explosion yield.

From where you get Weight of the DF-31 Missile, Its not 20T its actual weight is 42T and its was operational in 2006 only.

Pls provide actual facts, Donot follow bad habbits from ur partner countries

I don't know what bad habbits our partner countries have. obivously your reading comprehensive ability is insufficient to realize DF31 and DF31A are two different things. i am not sure whether DF31A wasn't operational until 2006, but i knew that it had been successfully developed a couple of years before that.

DF31A might be inducted in 2006 "only", you got to realize that Agni3 vs DF31A is literally 80286 vs iCore comparison. Agni3 is merely in china's 1960s, not America's or Soviet Union's
