India's low-cost dreamliner:- and its made in India

Given the indian efficiency, by the time it is completed it will be more expensive than the actual dreamliner..so no point calling it low...rather call it..India's Money Pit Aircraft or IMPA for short.

Good to know some technology research is happening rather than doing nothing

Yeah , we all know about Pakistani Efficiency. Let China make 90% of an Aircraft , do some random 10% work on it and sell the aircraft as "jointly produced" , and there you have something like a JF-17. Not to mention it's an obsolete 3rd Gen aircraft that even the Chinese won't buy.

lol``a classic bharti boast, lets wait``maybe in 2050?

It may happen that we can not make RTA (regional transport aircraft). But the experience we will gain can be used in many area.

The sub component we can make can be used for maintenance of existing fleet. Imagine domestic airline companies (Private) calling HAL guys to repair their planes (rather than calling Boeing guys). how much money we can save, how much money we can make...

Just imagine....
