If enlarging your breasts is ethical, if enlarging your butt is ethical, if enlarging your eyes is ethical, if straightening your nose is ethical, then whats wrong with enlarging your limbs. If its medically safe and possible, then why should the society get to decide for an individual whether its ethical or not?

If a person is insecure about something and has the means, s/he should have the freedom to do something about it.

Like India, China suffers from this fad as well. Its just that, more and more people are now starting to have disposable incomes, which some tend to spend on cosmetic improvements. They are a tiny minuscule percentage though, and again I don't think it has anything to do with trying to be white. Its more to do with standing out from the crowd.

I mean do you ever see articles saying that Caucasians are addicted to tanning salons and products, or people who dye their hair dark, are doing so because they are trying to be more like Indian or Pakistani or Middle Eastern? You ll never ever see such an article, but the moment a brown person tries to lighten his skin tone, or dye his hair to a lighter color you ll have white people saying, look we are so great that this brown person is trying to become white. Its subtle racism, thats what it is.

The people from the sub continent using skin whitening creams are doing so to be more appealing to other Indians...not Caucasians. It's not like these people are trying to become mail order brides.
So the notion that they are "trying to emulate the Caucasians" is ridiculous..
Cosmetic surgery and its other applications are purely a personal thing..something an individual does to uplift his/herself. To each his own..if it helps them improve their lives and self confidence, so be it.
Of course there are some cases where it becomes psychological disorder where people are addicted to cosmetic surgery, but those cases are rare

First off, how did the society "force" them to do this? All cosmetic surgeries are self elective...
Why else do you think Plastic surgeons have little to no liability insurance?

Secondly, its the individuals own complex that leads them to believe that they weren't hired because of skin color or height...there is no way to prove this unless in a civil suit against the company where the courts can decide whether systematic discrimination had taken place.

Lastly, marriage is also a very personal subject. So if no one wants to marry these people, its their right to refuse who they want to marry or not...Everyone has personal preferences..This has nothing to do with these individuals being forced into any actions to correct their apparent "flaws"

That is not what many people who perform such extreme surgeries say. They are usually brainwashed and forced by their surrounding to take such extreme measures.
