India’s INS Arihant will force China to Complete Pakistan Nuclear Triad: Aussie Media

Pakistan is still working on torpedo based SLCM capability. There are three reasons

1.
Agosta 90/90B supports two kind of torpedos.

  • ECAN L5 Mod 3: 4.320 m and 935 kg
  • ECAN F17 Mod 2: 6.0m and 1,410 kg
Even chinese torpedo based SLCM with 6 meter in length have meager 128 KM of range--The submarine based SLCM have much powerful booster

--Popeye ALCM without booster of length 6.25 meter, diameter 533 mm have range of 325 KM

Popeye submarine torpedo launched SLCM in INS Rahab/Dolphin class II SSK have range of 1000+KM but its dimensions are almost 8-9+ meter in length and uses 650 mm heavy torpedo tubes--That's about 10 % more radii & 2+ meter length carrying about 1.5 times more volume than 6.25 meter length 533 Torpedo launched SLCM.

2. Babur Solid booster have low specific impulse. It uses jet vanes & lacks TVC which is serious problem given pakistan all solid stage missiles uses Long March 1/FG36 type engines which all based on jet vanes. US, Russia, China, India have experience of working on boosters for 6 to 4 decades! Pakistan is newbie in booster technology! It have no engine with flex nozzle TVC--- The specific impulse of Shaheen engines are of 1960-70 type missiles !

3 Babur GLCM was designed, built and tested in China--Pak havent ever undergone any wind tunnel test of its missiles and drones- Infact, Pakistan starts with semi finished product supplied by china and south africa(Denel dynamic provided Raad)- Babur uses majority chinese components(turbojet, inertial navigation, flight control, electronics, TERCOM altimeter) minus fuselage which is made by NESCOM with the jigs, lathes and other tools supplied by china

Pakistan simply lacks the capability to design, windtunnel & manufacture a cruise missile on its own!

Pakistan decided to choose Denel supplied Ra'ad & never attempted to alter Babur GLCM into Babur ALCM.

3. China also lacks any torpedo based SLCM of range > 128 km-They can certainly produce torpedo launched long range SLCM but Chinese are more focused on supersonic solid fuel/dual pulse short range VLS launched SLCM & long range SLBM.
They have SSBM,SSN for nuclear triad so they prefer their SSK for conventional attack with short range missiles!

=>But China will certainly help Pakistan redesign/modify Babur SLCM as part of eight S-20 purchases!

=> Pak's chinese procured S-20 with 533 diameter and 6-6.5 meter length tubes can at max fit a 300-400 Km SLCM!

If we can build the 14000 Ton of outer and inner sheild for the particle collider at CERN, you think we cant make some random wind tunnels?

Visit to Cern: Pakistan proud of its scientists, says Nawaz - The Express Tribune

"He visited the CMS (Compact Muon S) – the largest particle collider in the world that was part of the 27 km long Large Hadron Collider (LHC) – and witnessed the huge 14,000 tons heavy outer and inner shields built by the Heavy Mechanical Complex Taxila."

Although 8 Submarines we are going to buy from China are enough to carry out nuclear strike. Still sooner or later we would go for nuclear submarines either directly from China or build in Pakistan by Chinese help.

Indians get over excited & start dreaming in their bollywood world.

Except Popeye never heard about any SLCM with a nuclear warhead, Why doesn't US have submarines with Tomhawk missile with nuclear warhead, do they have?
Cruise missile isn't robust enough for a nuclear strike role, they are easier to intercept even with 1980s SAM system, unlike ballistic missile.

USA retired its nuclear capable intercontinental cruise missile used for deterrence in 1961 after ICBM development

@Rashid Mahmood Sir please answer our Indian members here
This forum is a best venue to gather open source intelligence. I bet many supercomputers from difference intel agencies are scanning this and many other forums like these to collect valuable data. In US military if service member get caught contributing to forum like these, they can get court martialed depending on the circumstances.
I am not here to answer our enemies.
They have their programs, we have our programs.

They don't need this forum they have enough powerful tools to know weather some test take place or not They monitior each inch of the world they would know we have the technology and we can use it against our enemies if they threaten us.

That's what open source intelligence means:

"Open
-source intelligence (OSINT) is intelligence collected from publicly available sources. In the intelligence community (IC), the term "open" refers to overt, publicly available sources (as opposed to covert or clandestine sources); it is not related to open-source software or public intelligence."

What might be something simple and not so important information for someone on this forum working in a not so critical position, same information might be the missing link your enemy is trying to find out to complete their puzzle.

Actually we thank you India you made our live miserable but in the end thanks to you we are Nuke Power ,Thanks to you we become strong in military ,thanks to you we went to US camp when you were in Russia ,Thanks to you we are in Russia/China camp and now you are in US ,Thanks to you we are starting realizing our full potential in economics as well as you went far a head in last decade but we will follow you in the similar way .Thanks to you we are looking for 5th Gen planes
thanks that despite being ahead of us economically till late 80s .. u decided to play big boys game in Afg and got slapped by all and are still trying to recover ! please keep doing it !

NAVAL CHIEF INAUGURATES NAVAL STRATEGIC FORCE HEADQUARTERS

Do you think a Proffessional PN officer will reveal about Paks strategic projects on a forum .. coz of some indian trolls?

Ask the forum management about people leaking secret info on this forum in the past and the consequences.
Obviously, deterrence is all about leaking, not secrecy.

So what is the one thing that is significant? Well that would be how these initiatives are framed. India does it. Apparently it is "indigenous" even if the Russian Pусский is painted over with रिपब्लिक ऑफ़.
Lol, In hindi, that is not Republic of , but Ganrajaya. If you dont know hindi, dont try one.

So we did that learned our lessons but you started your games in Afg after 30 years of us so history will repeat it self ,by the way already Indian influence in AFG is closed to zero

No but Pakistan has tested Naval Version of Babur although info was not revealed. So we have capacity to carry out nuclear strikes through Submarines. @Rashid Mahmood

Yaa ko sab pato hai...

I think even if are capable of nuclear strike from see and so China can ... They won't help Pakistan to build the same reason being the move will be blocked in UN from China to do so.. overtly or covertly... Pakistan might get this from Russia though... who is seeking more defence business from Pakistan after sanctions and shift from India..

Most Soviet-era SLCMs have the option of going nuclear.

The Oscar Class SSGN (Nuclear guided missile submarine):

And Oscar II:

Are carrier-killers first and foremost. In their arsenal is the SS-N-19:

Earlier submarines, like the Echo II and Juliette Class SSGs (Conventional guided missile submarine):

Carried the SS-N-12:

Each can be nuclear or conventionally armed, in the event you absolutely need to put a carrier at the bottom of the ocean:

Both the submarine launched TLAM-A and ground-based GLCM, the nuclear armed variants of Tomahawk, have been retired:

Intercontinental? Yeah, quite obsolete with the advent of nuclear armed ballistic missiles. But the US does still have nuclear armed cruise missiles - even its SLCM, the TLAM-A, was only retired between 2010 and 2013.

Currently, Tomahawk warheads are kept in reserve, but the only active nuclear armed cruise missile in the US arsenal is the air-launched AGM-86 ALCM:

They still have nuclear capable cruise missiles, just not SLCMs.

In return we will help Vietnam and Phillipines 'make' nuclear submarines.

Its is not that easy to equip pak with every kind of weapons that India posses or develops...Pakistan has financial limitations to maintain those weapons.. Short cut works sometimes but not all the times...Pakistan should develop its economy first and gradually enhance its defense systems..Most of our recent weapons are aimed at China..Pakistan has got nukes so they should just take a chill pill and relax even if China provokes them to get on par with India!
