Quite unfair to single out Indian soldiers here. These problems are not limited to just Indians, soldiers from other countries(yes including Pakistan) have been accused of sexual misconduct in the past. At least India is investigating the allegations.

So please save us the "professionalism and discipline" tripe.

Typical Indian way, if they can't come out clean, they make others look bad, as though it would clear the shameful acts of their own.

Where did you see the denial mate? We condemn whatever has happened, but we are not going to let people take pot shots at our country based on such incidents. Investigation is underway, people will be disciplined accordingly.

And its not like American troops haven't been accused of wrong doings in the past. So save us this holier than thou attitude.

Just read this thread about the denial. If you don't see that, you are in denial.

We American troops are of course not blameless; however, we punish the crimes when they have been convicted. There are American soldiers serving long prison sentences for their crimes.

So you think it's ok to excuse Indian criminal behaviors since Americans have misconducts? Are you saying two wrongs make a right? This speaks volume of your moral conduct and judgement.

If some one thinks he has the moral high ground to criticize us , there is nothing wrong in showing them mirror. especially when they claim their army is disciplined. And lets not start about moral character of Americans shall we? it will stink up the whole forum. Before you advice Indian soldiers how to behave when they are abroad, check the rape statics of American soldiers. No action was taken against the abusive American soldiers still shi* hit the fan , be it Abu Gharib or Guantanamo Bay. Clean up your record before advising us.

On topic: I'm glad these guys are getting punished for their crimes. Unfortunately we have morons even in the army. Hope these guys are tried and prosecuted ASAP to prevent further crimes again.

Exactley. Thanks jayron. Wish our countries leaders had the balls to have a strong judical system. There is nothing wrong with a nation in saying this is wrong, it happened and the guys doing it are punished. Would set an example and make the nation stronger and more respected.
