India's absence a serious failure by: Greg Sheridan

Australia has the largest Uranium reserves on the planet.

By a very large margin.
btw what will we do with their largest uranium reserve?...we don't need all but as per our requirement and that can be bought from other's also.

Liking or not liking someone, has nothing to do with business.

Business in the free market should be colour-blind. You don't see Americans refusing to invest in China or the other way around. In fact the US and China have the largest bilateral economic relationship in the world.

You guys were talking about Uranium. Buying resources is business.

instead of giving us moral lectures the australians should have just sold its uranium to us without being worried about what we do with it , they always see us as a third world nation and often tries to be the usa of the east , i can bet that the australians are not good at doing business ........

Well that part of the business (rather the discriminatory attitude towards India) is affecting the Bilateral relationship

Wait maybe?

We have already been waiting for centuries, to become a part of the developed world. No harm in waiting a few years longer for an extra supply route.

We don't want to be part of the developed world (no idea about China though) and neither we want them to be a part of us. We just want each other to come together without bringing any conditions or advantages on the table and cohesively work together for each others development that is why we stress on equal partnership with countries higher or lower than us.

Australia is not selling Uranium due to political pressure from the Greens Party(read tree huggers) mainly.

We are gonna vote labour+greens out next election. And Coalition (Tony Abbott) more than willing to sell Uranium to India. Not too long to go now.

Australians won't give us uranium because we have not signed NPT and CTBT its a political thing really
