many people doesn't know about vikramshila university in Bihar
just for information i am posting

IMO its not right to compare a city with a state.

Secondly, Delhi is such a mess thanks to huge influx from UP, Bihar n Haryana.



Hardworking students were never the problem but rather poor law n order stituation n poverty stricken masses.

Besides the point here is that their first priority should be setting a realistic goal for the university to meet the demands of masses n meeting industry expectations rather than buiding air castles.

so who are the pure delhites !! Delhi is city of migrants and delhi is in such a mess only because of those who live there and it includes all.

imo u have some vast misunderstandings of ground realities of bihar. Bihar is not so poor that the poverty stricken masses will eat the coming students. Law and order situation is not so good .. but the issues which really bothers a migrant students like racism, nonacceptance by locals, discrimination on the basis of language, ethnicity, provincialism etc are non existent in case of Bihar.

PS - I m not biased against Bihar or Biharis, its just that i m not expecting any Harvard coming outta Bihar anytime soon as suggested in the article.

no one is expecting a Harvard! we just want a good university which can attract students as well as good faculty !

Bihar is not bad either !

Though its true that Bihar has improved a lot in last decade but Foreign tourists in Bihar has more to do with Bihar's past then its present i.e. primarily Buddha n Buddhism(religious sentiments) while Goa is all about beaches n drugs.
