Indians Addicted to Pakistani Music Now More Than Before

Pakistani music is really good! the thing is, we hear very few of them... Zunoon etc have been good. and Ali Zafar is the current heart throb.. btw I wont even get Nusrat saab into this discussion... singers like Nusrat or Lata donot and cannot belong to any nation or religion.. they are the Almighty's gift to the mankind....

I feel sad when i hear some Pakistani members saying that Indian music is pathetic, and Indian movies are all useless... Guys we all need to understand that good or bad is not defined by borders... It can never be.. Moreover, in this particular case, the Indian film and music industry has grown real huge, and there's nothing wrong with them being famous in Pakistan and being loved by people there...

For me Indians have more understanding for music and respect for singers etc !! Thats why our ppl go there and when come back they dont get same respons. List is long.

You see, a good singer will get the respect he deserves wherever he performs.. and a bad one... well... tomatoes and eggs are available in all the countries!!!!:guns:

MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is opening up the 8 pm slot with an adaptation of the Pakistani television drama, Dhoop Kinare.

Launching on 3 October, the new daily fiction will replace the poor performer Krishnaben Khakrawala.

Kuch To Log Kahenge will air Monday to Friday at 8 pm. Sony is already strongly entrenched in the 8.30 pm-10 pm slot with the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), while Bade Ache Lagte Hai is doing well in the 10.30 pm time band

Many Pakistani dramas kept on running on Zee TV and EL TV during the early and mid nineties.
the long list is there but some of them include Red Card, Ajnabi and others.
If Pakistani dramas were not popular why your Zee Tv and El Tv kept on airing them....Go check the history of your channels.

PK definitely has some amazing talent. We would be well-advised to welcome them with open arms.

Pakistanis were always more talented than Indians in the field of music. You wont believe how many songs India stole from Madam Noor Jehan and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan over the decades. A young 15 year-old Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan changed the music scene of Bollywood forever with her hit song "Aap Jaisa Koi".

Anyone with even a little understanding of Urdu/Punjabi would love our Pakistani singers.

:rofl: You should seek to some doctor for medical treatment

a country of 180 mn can't able to create a industry of few USD is talking about talent and quality with multi billion USD.

You're the one that should seek a doctor for medical treatment. Pakistan always had a vibrant successful music industry since 1947. Film industry is totally different.

I was asking the size of your music industry from the beginning but nobody dared to answer. Check the thread for the confirmation.

 few songs  for your kind information Lata Mangeshkar alone has sung more than 30000 songs.

If you call hundreds of songs "few" then you should see a psychiatrist and no one wants to hear the chipmunk sound coming from Lata's voice.

You don't have the argument against this and you don't have figure regarding your music industry --whose singers come to india for citizenship and for better prospects.
