Indian Travelling To Pakistan Question

not in your sense of course. :D
in indian sense. and after all the bhayas in india and pak have their origins at the same place.
Yeah but we use the word Bahiya for a certain type of person... Not their cast, creed or origin :P

.
I think this might be a bit different case from ur friend's visit to Delhi as the whole ''we r the same'' thing works well for North Indians n Pakistanis but a South Indian could feel alien in North India itself let alone Pakistan...

But i think overall Pakistanis r a bit more open towards Indians in comparision to Indians towards Pakistanis bcoz of huge presence of Bollywood n Indian Media in Pak.:)

BTW how popular r credits cards in Pak as its not advisable to carry much cash.

I think a lot of Indians would like to visit Northern areas of Pak(bcoz of that thread on PDF:lol:) but i think its not advisable us to go there for atleast next 5 years but how about Peshawer? Is it ok for an Indian to go there?

Any members from KPK here???
Well you are right we are more open towards India because our politics are not as much hate oriented towards India.Yes i have already heard that south Indians hate Pakistan so much, what,s the reason behind that? Please tell me what,s the reason behind that?Because they don,t share the very same Punjabi culture with Pakistan like north Indians and they feel more foreigner?
Credit cards are not much popular in Pakistan but in bigger cities you can use it in some shopping outlets and restaurants. But still i prefer cash for shopping.
Well peshawar too is safe on most of the timebut because it,s of it,s presence near the near tribal belt and afghan border i advise you not to go there as a foreigner.Even in normal times that area is not normal because there less law and order there and pathans follow jirga and tribal system, also the presence of worlds biggest illegal gun and drug trade market does not need any introduction

I am sorry you had that experience. Foreign Office should apply the visa policy equally on all peoples, not selectively as you suggested. Sorry once again.

No they dont and they should not.

Its the easiest way to encroach into rival country. Get passport of friendly western country and then get into pakistan.

Intelligence agencies understand this trick so they are more suspect.

. . .
I don't think you are welcome in Pakistan, maybe some of the Pakistani members here do not agree with me, but the reactions i have from indian members on this forum and in general through indian media , stay in your side of the border and there is no need to come over ...

dear imran bhai,
i love to visit place ,which is more important from archaeological and ancient historical point of view ,

one year back i got opportunity visit Pakistan for official tour , i was suppose to visit one industries in Karachi, but my immediate boss said it is very dangerous ,he is regularly visiting Pakistan ones in year ,
he said he never went out side hotel , also keep gun man body guard, he feel scare in Karachi , but he also said , inside factory people are very good and welcoming ,but on street it is dangerous

so after his advise i drop my plan ,
but still in my mind want to visit harappa mohenjo daro and taxila ?

another problem is ,i have many tattoo of Ganesha in my arm(that can be cover) but having om and swastika in neck , people can recognized easily that i am Hindu ,

in Bangladesh i have good experience,i use to visit freely even in interior , even people recognize that i am from India and Hindu, never face any attack or bad incident ,i was perfectly comfortable in Bangladesh

TBH i feel same in karachi street crimes and much more mess is there police was sleeping and close eyes 5 years of PPP era now they awake . but karachi was not that much bad in mushy time or before . these 5 years karachi become S HOLE you can go lahore islamabad or any other place dear in islamabad you will feel in EU services and security .

.

Don't judge a book by the cover

and

judge a Pakistani or an Indian by their PDF posts.

Many just come here to get their frustration out and openly express their ignorance, especially their ignorance of our region's history.

Peace

Okay thats just taking it too far.

Maybe Delhi or Punjab or UP.
Certainly not the South Indian States.

How many South Indians do you think migrated to Karachi? Do you have idea?
They are all part of the populous.. Keralites, Goans, Tamils..
Sure , they rarely speak the language because its all common to the Karachi Urdu now. but everyone's here. Nobody cares what you look like and where you are from. The only place one might notice a south Indian is in North Pakistan where they have spare time to notice these things.

Screw you !

But i visited South and liked Chennai more than Delhi.

Delhi is as fake as modern Lahore .

Lol. My home state is neighbouring Chennai. But then again you were on business though. :D

Land in Karachi.. and you will blend in easy. Do whatever you would do in Kerala and stop worrying about the usual scare tactics. Indians come and go on a regular basis and the worst they get is surprised at their ignorance of what Pakistan really is.

Any further information is only useful once you have bought the ticket.

Sorry. I didn't mean to come off as ignorant or prejudiced.

Ho can I not go to visit Karachi my man :D
