Just wondering why is Air force returning these plane,even being a decade old though they still have most of 4th gen capability!!
Had they been refurbished it would have been more value for money, as we all know second hand products don't fetch good money!!
Also it is better than most of the fighters in our inventory, even then WHY THIS KOLAVERI DI????
IAF has plans for a certain no of fighters, specially the costly to operate and maintain twin engine. It has a certain requirement for different types, like twin-seater/twin engine, heavy planes, which is 270 and would be satisfied by MKIs, even after selling their old gen 30's (not MKI).
