I think, what India really needs to be worried about is the huge difference in birth rates between Muslims and other religions.

Therefore, I think, controlling Hindu(speaking in general terms) population only MAY prove to be dangerous few years down the line.......It MAY even become a threat to India's Secular status....as Muslims tend to be intolerant towards other religions.
