Indian second strike capability, under gunned and underwhelming

India has more resources and their nuclear program is far more advanced than North Korea and India can modify their Pu weapon with ease, remember India is non signatory of CTBT, IAEA is useless for India
India is in a deal with USA and testing would mean sanctions. You can use computers but you cannot be sure a simple bug in software can throw of you decades of research so live testing is very important.

What deal? show it to me bro the main deal is CTBT for banning nuclear test not IAEA

A 5 accuracy is between 100-200 mt not 10 as claimed by many , that 10 mt is a calculated lie by DRDO & MOD, read FAS report & sarswat himself claimed back in 2007 that accuracy of A5 will be between 100 & 200mt

Incorrect. In 2007, Chander said they are aiming to achieve accuracy levels of sub-100m for A5. They ended up achieving sub-10m.

https://fas.org/blogs/security/2013/10/indianmirv/
Even the statement by the Ministry of Defense that the payload from the recent Agni V test reached the target area “within a few meters of accuracy” seems over the top. In contrast, back in 2007 when the Agni V was being designed, Chander said: “We are trying to attain an accuracy level of 100 metres.”

We do have 3 Modified Augusta 90b's ---
Cannot fire Babur.

ow do know that it was NOT tested MIRV, just in your wet dream:blah:, ISPR clearly stated that it is used multiple warheads, Oh i forget it you are another fake and stupid Indian BM expert :sarcastic:
Nope, ISPR never said multiple warheads were tested, only thing it said that it was MIRV capable.

Missiles never test MIRVs in first test, Trident 1 tested MIRV in 6th test whereas Bulava tested MIRV in 5th test

.
Not today nor tomorrow.
they don't have a tested compact warhead and they have signed a deal not to test any more nukes.
Nor had Pakistan... But they are proven but ours not??? Hypocrisy

They don't have compact nuke , that's why they cannot MIRV their sea bases K series.
But they are fielding those with existing unitary warheads from Agni-1 and Agni-5.
Really..and how do you got that information?

We have MIRV capability (multiple sat launches in different orbits) don't you think we can use that capability in a missile?

.
Its not a new design it is based on Shaheen-2 and 3 with a addition of 3rd liquid stage , and kindly explain the difference between MIRV and multiple warheads you fake and insane Indian BM expert:suicide::suicide2:
ISPR made NO mention that multiple warheads were tested

About K-4 , K-15 and Arihant submarine, it's a bit baffling.
Taking reference from the website most Indians consider reliable source the lightest and smallest diameter Indian nuclear warhead may be the one on Agni-1 which has a blast yield of 40-50 kt. That's the one most probably used on K-15.
https://missilethreat.csis.org/missile/agni-1/
On the higher side ,the Agni-4 and Agni-5 warheads are 1-1.3 meters wide and 3 metes long. That's the warhead most probably used on K-4 and has a blast yield of 150 KT.

So an Arihant submarine armed with four K-4 will have a total destructive power of about 600 KT or four warheads of 150 KT each.
The same for an Arihant armed with twelve K-15
With twelve warheads of 50 KT each.
That's a very under gunned second strike capability of just 600 KT?
Neither K-4 or K-15 are MIRV capable as too narrow.

First of all there is no question of second strike capability as our enemy has no power to destroy our Nuclear first strike capability in any case.

Indian nuclear design is very bulky and very heavy. The more heavier the war head is the lesser range it will achieve. When designing a missile you have to bring in many things. Like most of Indian missile are fired though silos why? because the are to heavy for a TEL and bulky. In a ballistic missile the rage come with altitude gained by the rocket. with a heavier payload the range decreases. When they test and ICBM it has no war head so it can achieve a good altitude.

A lots of wishful thinking.

Analysis and predictions based on available content on the web. Why would India post its sensitive material on the web.

You talking about CHINA or PAKISTAN or what?
I am just asking this to clarify because lot of your countrymen claim that they are over Pakistan now and it is China that they call the enemy now so that is why.

Yes you guess it right.

Yes you guess it right.
OK. So you say that your enemy, that is CHINA, do not have the power to destroy your main strike capability, that is, to wipe off the Indian nuclear offense forces with a strike.

What i am wondering is why is it that Indian military and government is so keen to develop second strike capability then? I mean, you are investing BILLIONS of dollars in setting up a sound second strike capability. What is the need? Are they mad? Why are the wasting so much of the Indian populations money. There is no argument, there sould be no argument about the fact that there still are so many places that can be worked upon within the country for the betterment of the population (same is our case). So when you say that the enemy cannot wipe off all your assets in a first strike as they do not have the power to do so, and if you are right about it, why invest so much money that can find way better uses into developing a second strike capability?

What is your take on this?

China has no first use policy like India and we are not bothered about pakistan first strike. Pakistan can not decapicitate even 10% of our nukes in first strike.

oh, so now you are saying that when you mentioned "............. our enemy has no power to destroy our first strike capability in any case" you were talking about PAKISTAN and not CHINA.

Then what was this about?
Yes you guess it right.

Alright if you say so. How can Pak navy conduct a slcm test from its own subs, without taking Indians on board , case closed ------
