Indian second strike capability, under gunned and underwhelming

These were the warheads along with their respective weights available to Indian strategic forces in early 2000s.

Now because of the China factor, India has progressed to developing mega-tonne warheads.

That is why payload of all newer long range missiles has been increased from 1 tonne to 1.5/2 tonnes.

But they will still put their Pu warhead for their K series of SLBM
Indian Pu design are not compact name a single compact warhead that was tested by India.
this is the their war head being tested

And their test were not successful most of them.

What are Indians going to do with this nuke kill me and my neighbor with it. Anything bigger and India would need to borrow the rocket from Space X.

And they can't improve it?o_O this pic was their nuclear test in may 1998 bro

The thread says India start one on Pakistan and community will help you a lot.

Ya, I guessed that, you can't, because there wasn't one tested by Pakistan, that is why you would like to skirt away from the topic.

Ok, so if K-15 according to you is carrying 300 Kt warhead each then K-4 must be carrying over a megaton?

Megaton warheads are less useful now. You can say at least 500kT. But it is always possible that we may have megaton warheads.

India relies a lot on greater accuracy compared to other countries. For example, the Trident II was designed for a CEP of less than 90m whereas Agni V was made for a CEP of less than 10m. So the relevance of megaton warheads for India is much lower.

Ever wondered why all Indian missiles are designed to carry over a ton in warhead Wight? Even Prithvi?

For tactical use using conventional warheads.

They can easily improve their previous Pu warheads
If it was so easy Obama wouldn't have said that it will take North Korea 20 more years arm the missile to deliver that nuke and remember north can test India cannot.

Can't you use supercomputers to simulate these?

India has more resources and their nuclear program is far more advanced than North Korea and India can modify their Pu weapon with ease, remember India is non signatory of CTBT, IAEA is useless for India

With the advent of advance computing, Cold test is what rest of world doing these days.
Last hot test done by US was in 1991 and Soviet union in 1990.

Israel never tested a single nuclear weapon, but now they have more 80, including thermonuclear ones.

Hot test is only done to prove to rest of the world, that you are nuclear power.

A 5 accuracy is between 100-200 mt not 10 as claimed by many , that 10 mt is a calculated lie by DRDO & MOD, read FAS report & sarswat himself claimed back in 2007 that accuracy of A5 will be between 100 & 200mt
