What's new

Indian Railways enters new league! Swanky 160 kmph engine-less Make in India train is too good

I see a toilet with a paper roll.

No arse shower faucet.

Cheers, Doc

The actual prototype odes have arse shower faucet to keep your tush clean. although it does not have any side bars for it to be disabled/old people friendly. But it can be rectified in mass production.

That's what I was wondering.

Something made in India simply cannot have that missing.

That is the rake of Howrah Kalka Express and is basically an ICF rake spruced up interiors.
However as economics stand today, getting a new LHB rake is actually economical when you compare safety aspects and comfort to passengers. Hopefully by 2024 IR will convert all its express trains to LHB coaches rakes.
